On Friday afternoon, near Gataria Bridge under Piro police station on Ara-Sasaram State Highway, a pickup full of pilgrims met with an accident and overturned on the side of the road. While a car lost balance and fell into a nearby water-filled pit. More than 10 pilgrims were seriously injured in the accident.

ARA-------------------------On Friday afternoon, near Gataria Bridge under Piro police station on Ara-Sasaram State Highway, a pickup full of pilgrims met with an accident and overturned on the side of the road. While a car lost balance and fell into a nearby water-filled pit. More than 10 pilgrims were seriously injured in the accident.
It is said that people of Karhagar market and nearby Babhni village of Rohtas district had gone to Deoghar in a pickup to perform Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva. While returning to Kargahar on Friday, a car coming from the opposite direction near Gataria Bridge of Piro police station dodged the pickup, due to which the pickup overturned on the side of the road while the car fell into a water-filled pit.
In the incident, Ashok Kumar Singh, Golu Kumar, resident of Kosdihra village of Karhagar police station area, Satyendra Seth of Babhani village, Manjeet Kumar, Bhola Sah, Alok Kumar, Kanhaiya Sah of Rahda village, Murarnath Bhagat of Karhagar, Dhanu Pratap Singh and many others were seriously injured.
On receiving the information, Vaishya leader Amit Gupta, ward councilor Rahul Kumar, Amit Kumar Verma etc. reached the spot and sent the injured people to Piro Community Health Center for immediate treatment. Where after first aid, five people were referred to Sadar Hospital. Orthopedic specialist Dr. Hamad Jafar said that all the injured people are out of danger.
