BUXAR------------------------------The weather in the district took a sudden turn, as heavy rains accompanied by a fierce storm disrupted daily life. Reports indicate that the storm caused trees and electric poles to topple in several locations, resulting in power outages across various areas.

In the Yashoda Nagar Colony—located within the Industrial Police Station jurisdiction—a massive Sheesham tree on the main road near the highway was uprooted by the strong winds and crashed onto the street. Two motorcyclists passing by at the time sustained minor injuries. Thanks to the prompt action of local residents, both individuals were safely rescued.

Additionally, reports of falling trees and damage are being received from other parts of the district as well. The storm has brought electricity supply to a standstill in many regions, causing inconvenience to the public. The administration is closely monitoring the situation, and restoration work has already commenced in the affected areas.
