ARA---------------------------On Monday evening, the fury of nature was witnessed in the Sandesh police station area of ​​the district, where a young tractor driver died on the spot after being struck by lightning amidst a severe storm and heavy rainfall. The deceased has been identified as Nirmal Kumar, the 20-year-old son of Nanhe Lal Ram, a resident of Salempur village, located within the jurisdiction of the Sandesh police station. According to reports, Nirmal had set out on Monday evening with his tractor to plow his fields. While he was at work, the weather suddenly took a turn for the worse, and torrential rain accompanied by a fierce storm began. Amidst this, lightning struck from the sky; Nirmal was caught in its path and died on the spot.

News of this incident—which occurred near the Khuthiari Shiva Temple within the jurisdiction of the Sandesh Police Station—sent shockwaves through the surrounding area. Upon receiving word of the tragedy, locals gathered at the scene, creating an atmosphere of chaos and commotion. As soon as the news of this untimely demise reached Nirmal's family, their home was plunged into utter devastation. His family members are inconsolable in their grief, and a pall of mourning has settled over the entire village.
