Suchitra Academy Launches Project PULSE to Train 1 Lakh Citizens in Life-Saving CPR Skills

NI) Suchitra Academy has launched Project PULSE, a powerful CPR awareness initiative aimed at reaching over 1 lakh people across Hyderabad. 

The campaign, with the theme "Empower. Act. Save.", is designed to equip students, teachers, parents, and community members with life-saving CPR skills.

Event was a blend of art, action, and awareness, featuring CPR-themed songs, a symbolic candle-lighting ceremony, and a dance performance showcasing the urgency and impact of CPR.

The event was graced by Padma Dr. Gopichand Mannam, Chief Guest and leading cardiothoracic surgeon,Managing Director, Star Hospital and Dr. G.V. Ramana Rao, Guest of Honour and Director at GVK EMRI GHS. Both guests stressed the importance of public training in emergency response.

A key highlight was the launch of the Project PULSE CPR Handbook by Dr. Rahul Katta, Founder of Ayuh Emergency Services and Group Head,Department of Emergency medicine at Star Hospitals and the badge ceremony honoring student volunteers as CPR ambassadors.

Adding to the strength of the initiative, several doctors from the parent community also joined the launch, lending their support and reaffirming the significance of CPR training at the grassroots level.

Founder-Director Mr. Praveen Raju shared,

“This is not just a school project — it’s a societal mission. CPR awareness can turn ordinary citizens into life savers.”

Suchitra Academy now plans to take Project PULSE to malls, gyms, schools, and gated communities, transforming everyday spaces into hubs of emergency preparedness.
