LORD PARASHURAM IS THE 16^TH INCARNATION OF LORD VISHNU: JIYAR SWAMI

ARA----------------------------Shri Lakshmi Prapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj, while preaching, explained the story of Lord Parashurama's incarnation in detail. Swami Ji said that Lord Parashurama was incarnated as a person of a tough nature. But Lord Parashurama's thoughts were not hateful towards anyone. It is said that Lord Parashurama had harmed the Kshatriya community. But first of all, all people should read the entire life story of Lord Parashurama.

Because Lord Parashurama never had any kind of hateful feelings or thoughts towards the Kshatriya community. Lord Parashurama was also born in a strange way. Jamadagni Rishi was married to the daughter of King Gadhi, the father of Vishwamitra Muni. At that time, King Gadhi did not have any son. It means that Vishwamitra Ji was not born at that time. Jamadagni Rishi was married to King Gadhi's daughter Renuka. King Gadhi who belonged to the Kshatriya community had put a condition for his daughter's marriage. He had put a condition that whoever has 100 white horses, he will marry his daughter to them. Jamadagni Rishi came to know about this. After which Jamadagni Rishi started searching for the white horse.

Jamadagni Rishi brought 100 white horses. Renuka's father took 100 horses to King Gadhi. After which King Gadhi's daughter Renuka was married to Jamadagni Rishi in a Brahmin family. In this way, Renuka, the daughter of Kshatriya community and Jamadagni Rishi, the son of Brahmin community, got married. Even after many days passed, Jamdagni Rishi did not have any child. Here Renuka's parents King Gadhi also did not have any child. Renuka told her husband Jamdagni Rishi that we want to have a child. Along with me, my parents also do not have any child till now. Therefore, it would have been very good if they also had a son. The same Jamdagni Rishi, while worshipping God with his true resolve, performed penance, sadhana, yagya etc. to get a child for himself and for his mother-in-law and father-in-law to get children.

Then Jamdagni Rishi got two different fruits for getting a child for himself and his mother-in-law and father-in-law. In which one was for getting a child in the form of a Brahmin. Which was for Jamdagni Rishi and Renuka. At the same time, he kept a separate fruit for getting a Kshatriya son for his father-in-law. Which was for King Gadhi and his wife. Now Renuka who was the wife of Jamadagni Rishi, ate the fruit that was kept for the Kshatriya parents to get a son. And the fruit that was kept for the birth of a Brahmin son was eaten by the wife of King Gadhi.

Later on, King Gadhi had a Brahmin son named Vishwamitra. Meanwhile, Lord Parshuram was born to Jamadagni Rishi and Renuka. Lord Parshuram appeared as a person with a stern nature. Once Vishwamitra Muni went to Vashishtha Rishi where he was given due respect by Vashishtha Rishi. Vishwamitra Muni asked Rishivar how did you give such good respect. Vashishtha Rishi said that I have such a cow, through which all kinds of dishes etc. are easily available.

Due to which we have shown such hospitality to you. Now Vishwamitra Muni started saying that give that cow to me. Vashishtha Rishi refused. After which Vishwamitra Muni was the son of the king, he was of Kshatriya nature. He started fighting with Vashishtha Rishi. The cow that Vashishtha Rishi had was very powerful. When Vishwamitra Muni started taking the cow forcefully, then the cow told Vashishtha Rishi to give permission, so that we can work further according to your orders. The same Vashishtha Rishi ordered the cow that if you are capable then you should answer the nature of Vishwamitra ji. Then Vishwamitra Muni was deprived of power by that cow. Due to its strong power, the cow drove away all the armies of Vishwamitra Muni who was the son of King Gadhi. After which Vishwamitra Muni also vowed to become an ascetic Brahmarishi like Vashishtha Rishi. After which he started doing penance etc. so that he too becomes a sage like Vashishta Rishi.

In this way, many times Vishwamitra Muni fought with Vashishta ji. Many sons of Vashishta Rishi were also killed in the war. Even after doing everything, when Vishwamitra Bhumi could not become a Brahmarishi, then one day he thought that Vashishta Rishi should be killed. After which Vashishta Rishi went around his house to kill him. Till then Vashishta Rishi was telling his wife that Vishwamitra Muni is a very good ascetic. Whose brilliance is visible in divine form even at night. Vishwamitra Muni heard this, after which he thought in his mind that Vashishta Rishi is praising me. While we are not there.

That is why Vashishta Rishi is really a Brahmarishi of high order. At that time, Vishwamitra Muni abandoned violence and went to Vasishta Rishi and held his feet. Then Vasishta Rishi said that now you Vishwamitra Muni have become Brahmarishi.

Once the king of Haihav dynasty came to the ashram of Jamadagni Rishi. The king of Haihav dynasty was welcomed very well by Jamadagni Rishi. There the Haihav dynasty asked Jamadagni Rishi that how did you welcome him so well with your many dishes. Jamadagni Rishi said that I have a cow which has such a capacity that whatever guest comes, everything becomes easily available to him. The king of Haihav dynasty said That you give me the cow. But Jamdagni Rishi refused.

After which the king of the Haihav dynasty killed Jamdagni Rishi. Later Lord Parshuram came to know about this. Then Lord Parshuram gave a befitting reply to all the people of the Kshatriya community including the king of the Haihav dynasty who were supporting him and with his true resolve brought his father Jamdagni Rishi back to life. In this way Lord Parshuram punished those people who had troubled his father and those who had supported the wrong conduct of the king of the Haihav dynasty. Lord Parshuram had given appropriate punishment to those people in a slightly strict nature.

That is why Lord Parshuram never behaved wrongly with any Kshatriya community people who were instructed by him. Once Jamdagni Rishi's wife Renuka had gone to fetch water. There, a fickle natured woman and man were seen being fickle. Renuka stayed there for some time and started seeing this thing. Due to which she was late in coming home. When Renuka reached home, Jamdagni Rishi asked why she was so late in coming. Then Jamdagni Rishi's wife Renuka said that we were seeing the nature of a fickle man and woman on the way. Due to which it took time. Then Jamdagni Rishi told many of his sons to kill their mother. But no son followed his orders. Then he told his son Parshuram to kill his mother. Lord Parshuram obeyed his father's orders and killed his mother. Then Jamdagni Rishi said that kill all your

brothers as well, who did not listen to me. Lord Parshuram killed all those brothers as well. Pleased with this, Jamdagni Rishi asked Lord Parashuram to ask for a boon. Lord Parashuram asked his father Jamdagni Rishi for the boon of bringing his mother back to life and also the boon of bringing all his brothers back to life.

After which Jamdagni Rishi also agreed. Lord Parashuram brought his mother and all his brothers back to life with his true resolve. In this way, Lord Parashuram took incarnation and performed leela on this earth.
