ARA-----------------------------India's great sage, Shri Lakshmiprapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj, delivered a sermon at the Paramanpur Chaturmasya Vrat Sthal on Tuesday, highlighting the importance of education. Education is such an elixir that, upon consuming it, one's entire life becomes immortal. Therefore, boys and girls should be exposed to the nectar of education from childhood. Education can achieve everything in life that is unimaginable. Education is the mother of values. Education is a way of living a human life. Education is the greatest medium for establishing better harmony in society.
Education is also crucial for leading a better life. It helps individuals secure employment, business, and employment opportunities. Education is a medium that not only transforms a person's personality, but also, through an educated individual, enhances the knowledge of their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and society.
Through which one person educates thousands of people. Therefore, when we educate a boy or girl, our entire society is educated. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all of us to continuously inspire our boys and girls to get educated.
Education is a medium through which we gain knowledge about the past, present, and future. It gives us knowledge about what history was like, what the present is like, and what the future should be like. When we understand these three periods through education, we work to make our future even stronger, better, more knowledgeable, and provide better guidance to our future generations. Therefore, education not only improves one era but also brightens the present and the future.
An educated person can achieve positions ranging from the smallest to the highest. Education is a medium through which one can attain positions ranging from a fourth-class employee to a first-class officer. You can also achieve high positions in the judiciary, executive branch, legislature, and journalism. Education is a medium that can also provide an opportunity to lead a country.
Therefore, every parent in society today has a significant responsibility to ensure their children consume both cow's milk, which will strengthen their health, and education, which will provide the power of knowledge. This is a power that no one can take away, that no one can share, and that no one can ignore. Therefore, ensure that your children receive the power of education.
Today, boys and girls are being distracted by technology during their study time. The more technology is effective today, the more it has become a major tool for distracting boys and girls from their education. Therefore, we especially want to urge all children and their parents to utilize this present time for education. Because the time that is lost today will never come back again. You can still enjoy the technology and mobile entertainment you enjoy today.
But you won't get the time to study again. The scriptures also state that the ability to understand and learn that boys and girls have in childhood diminishes as they grow older. The time for education is approximately from childhood to 25 years of age. If you use this time wisely, your life can be shaped. However, if you waste it, you will face problems throughout your life. Therefore, devote your childhood and education time to studying.
During the Srimad Bhagwat Katha, Swamiji explained the lineage of Lord Shri Krishna, i.e., the Chandra dynasty. From the navel of Lord Shriman Narayana emerged a lotus, from the lotus emerged Brahma, son of Brahma, sage Marichi, son of sage Marichi, sage Kashyap, and son of sage Kashyap, Surya Dev. Prince Sudumya was the son of Vaivasvata Manu, son of the Sun God. Due to a curse, he was born as a boy for one month and a girl for the next. When he was a girl, he married Buddha, son of the Moon, and they had a son named Pururava.
From the navel of Lord Shriman Narayana, Brahma was born, Sage Atri was born, Sage Atri was born, and Buddha was born, and Buddha was born. Buddha was married to Sudumya, son of Vaivasvata Manu, son of the Sun God. When he was a girl, Buddha was married to Buddha, son of the Moon, and Prince Pururava was born, from whom the Chandravansh dynasty continued. Much later in Pururava's lineage, a king named Nahusha was born.
Nahusha's son was Yayati. Yayati and his wife Devayani gave birth to King Yadu. Later in their lineage, a king named Devahid was born. King Devahid had two wives. From one wife, he had a son named Surya Sen. From the second wife, he had a son named Ajanya Prajnaya. Surya Sen was the father of Vasudev, and from Ajanya Prajnaya was the father of Nand Baba. Vasudev's wife, Devaki, had Krishna, and from his second wife, Rohini, he had Balarama.
