PATNA-------------------------The big news of this time is coming from the education world and administrative department of Bihar. Chief Minister's close officer and ACS S Siddharth has resigned from his post. Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department Dr. S. Siddharth has resigned from his post. In some media reports, it is being claimed that ACS S Siddharth has sent his resignation to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar under VRS. It is also being claimed in the media report that Dr. S. Siddharth had submitted his resignation on 17 July itself. A final decision will be taken on this after the approval of the Chief Minister. Sources say that there are speculations about him contesting the assembly elections. There is talk of him contesting elections from Nawada district.

In the education department, the working style of Dr. S Siddharth is always in the news. S Siddharth is known as a sharp IAS. During his tenure, S Siddharth emphasized on maximum attendance of students in government schools of Bihar, while S Siddharth also pays special attention to the attendance of teachers. S Siddhartha has often been checking the attendance of students in the school through video calls from his office and whether the teachers are present in the school or not.

After the news of S Siddhartha's resignation came to light, there has been a stir in the administrative circles. However, it has not been officially confirmed yet. It is being said in the media report that S Siddhartha has resigned from the post of ACS of the Education Department citing personal reasons.

ACS of Education Department Dr. S Siddhartha is a 1991 batch IAS officer. He was to retire in the month of November this year.
