PATNA-----------------------------LJP (R) leader Kumar Saurabh joins Jan Suraj, Uday Singh says, "With their support, Bihar can get 5-6 lakh crore rupees from the World Bank."

Jan Suraj's growing influence in Bihar politics was once again evident on Sunday when former banker and LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Kumar Saurabh joined the party. Present at the event, held at Sheikhpura House, were Jan Suraj National President Uday Singh, State President Manoj Bharti, State General Secretary Kishore Kumar, senior leaders Sudhir Sharma and Sarwar Ali.

At the event, Jan Suraj National President Uday Singh said, "Kumar Saurabh's extensive experience in the banking sector will prove to be a milestone in Bihar's development. He has held top positions at ICICI and Yes Bank and has a deep understanding of securitization. If a Jan Suraj government is formed in Bihar, with their support, we can raise up to ₹5-6 lakh crore from the World Bank and IMF. This will give a new direction to Bihar's development and will not put any additional burden on the people."

Uday Singh further said, "We want Chirag Paswan to join us for the betterment of Bihar. If he wishes, we can merge LJP (R) with Jan Suraj."

After joining the party, Kumar Saurabh said that he has no personal animosity with Chirag Paswan, but rather wants to join a new mass movement for Bihar's development. He said, "I expanded the organization for the LJP (R) in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh, but I wasn't getting the opportunity to fight on the streets. In a meeting with Prashant Kishore, he said that if we want to change Bihar, we'll have to fight a long battle. Therefore, I've decided to combine my experience and energy with Jan Suraj."

Jan Suraj's state president, Manoj Bharti, explained that Kumar Saurabh is originally from Aurangabad. He studied engineering at BIT Mesra, followed by higher education in finance and law. After more than a decade of experience in the banking sector, he joined the LJP in 2015 and served as the party's spokesperson and co-incharge of the organization.

Kumar Saurabh's entry, who left high positions in the banking sector to pursue social service, has marked a new political shift in Bihar politics.

Jan Suraj is now attracting not only the youth and intellectuals, but people from the professional class are also trying to mould the politics of Bihar in a new mould by joining the “Prashant Kishore Model”.
