ARA---------------------------The body of a newly wed woman was recovered in the night in Baruhi village of Sahar police station area of ​​Bhojpur district. A black wound mark was found on the neck of the deceased, due to which her parents are accusing her in-laws of killing her. The discovery of the body created a sensation in the village and surrounding areas. According to the information, the deceased is Kiran Devi, 20-year-old wife of Rahul Kumar alias Rohit Kumar, resident of Baruhi village of Sahar police station area.

Here, the deceased's cousin Lavkush Kumar said that her uncle Banwari Lal Thakur, a resident of Sukhrauli village of Hasan Bazar police station area, got her married to Rohit Kumar, son of late Kamlesh Thakur, resident of Baruhi village of Sahar police station area, on 2 November 2024. At the time of marriage, two lakh rupees in cash and a bike and other gift items were given. A few days after the marriage, her in-laws started demanding three lakh rupees. For which she was constantly harassed.

It was said that if you people don't give money, anything can happen. On Sunday evening, her in-laws called them and informed them that their sister has fallen from the roof of a two-storey building. On receiving the information, they reached the spot and saw that she was lying dead on the ground, all the people of her in-laws' house had fled from the house.

When they saw her, there was no mark of any kind of injury on her head. There was a mark on her neck. After which the family informed the local police station. On receiving the information, the local police reached the spot, took the body in their possession and got the post-mortem done in Sadar Hospital. On the other hand, the deceased's cousin Lavkush Kumar has accused her mother-in-law, husband and other people of her in-laws' house of killing her.

Sahar police station in-charge Deepak Kumar said that the police received information that her in-laws were taking the body for cremation. Then the police took immediate action and took the body in their possession. The FSL team was called at the spot. After which the FSL team collected evidence from the spot. However, the police is investigating the matter at its own level. It is said that the deceased's husband works in a private company in Rajkot, Rajasthan. The deceased was the second among two sisters and a brother. Her family consists of a sister Jyoti Kumari and a brother Rahul Kumar. Her mother Neelam Devi died a few years ago. All the members of her family are in a bad state due to constant crying.
