BHOJPUR DM REVIEWED THE AMC’S SCHEMES

ARA--------------------------A review meeting on the progress of various urban schemes and development works of the Arrah Municipal Corporation was held today under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate of Bhojpur, Tanay Sultania. The meeting discussed in detail several important schemes underway in the municipal area, including the construction of vending zones, regular anti-encroachment drives, and solid waste management.

He instructed the officials to ensure that the construction of the vending zones proposed by the Municipal Corporation is completed within the stipulated timeframe to mitigate the problem of unregulated roadside shops. He also strictly instructed them to conduct regular anti-encroachment drives in the city's main markets and crowded areas.

Regarding sanitation and waste management, the District Magistrate stated that timely garbage collection should be ensured and the solid waste management system should be further strengthened. He also directed the Municipal Corporation to take immediate necessary steps to improve the city's basic infrastructure and civic services.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Development Commissioner of Bhojpur, the Municipal Commissioner of Bhojpur, the City Manager of Arrah Municipal Corporation, the Executive Engineer of the Municipal Corporation, the Executive Engineer of BUDCO, and other concerned officials.
