PATNA------------------------Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has stated that providing government jobs and employment to as many youth as possible in the state is his government's top priority. In this regard, under Saat Nischay-2, 5 million youth have been provided government jobs and employment between 2020 and 2025. The target is to provide jobs and employment to 10 million youth in the next five years (2025-30).

With the formation of the new government, work has begun rapidly to make Bihar a major hub of industry and investment. The Chief Minister stated that, encouraging the development journey of a changing Bihar, a "new age economy" based on technology and service-based innovations will be created in the state. To this end, suggestions are being sought from leading entrepreneurs, economists, and experts from Bihar. Plans are also underway to establish Bihar as a "global back-end hub" and a "global workplace."

The Chief Minister stated that Bihar has a large youth population, which is the state's greatest strength. Using this human resource, efforts will be made to make Bihar a leading technology hub in Eastern India. Under this initiative, a defense corridor, semiconductor manufacturing parks, global capability centers, mega tech cities, and fintech cities will be established.

The government has formulated a significant policy to revive the sugar industry. The process of establishing new sugar mills and restarting closed ones will be initiated. Development plans will also be implemented rapidly to make major cities modern and attractive, incorporating new technology. The "Bihar Artificial Intelligence Mission" is also being launched to promote technology in the state.

For better implementation and monitoring of all these schemes, a high-level committee has been formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, which will oversee projects related to industry and employment generation.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that industrialization in Bihar has gained momentum in the last few years, and the newly elected government is committed to taking industrial development to new heights with redoubled strength. With high-quality infrastructure, power supply, water management, and the availability of skilled human resources, Bihar has now become a suitable state for large industries. "When we start a task, we complete it."
