BHABHUA---------------------------The news was published on the allegations of the villagers including the family members of the deceased regarding the death of a 58-year-old man after his health deteriorated after drinking alcohol.
The haste of administrative officials of the district to deny any incidents is very laughable, while the situation of so-called journalists is also suspicious. If seen from the ground, incidents of theft, smuggling, corruption, including bribery are common in the district and the state. Senior officials do not discharge their duties, but just fill the accounts and pass their time. If there are any small incidents, then due to ignoring them, it has been seen till date that big incidents have taken place, yet due to greed, the officials fill the accounts. Presently, the case is of Pachpokhari village of Kudra police station of Mohaniya subdivision in the district, the so-called thing is that after consuming alcohol, health deteriorated, on reaching the community health center for treatment, the person was found dead in the medical examination, the administration did not give information in the matter, after the news was published in the media, without the examination of the womb and without the postmortem report, the Subdivisional Police Officer issued a press release and denied the news, which is laughable as per the information received from the spot including the family members.
The Subdivisional Police Officer has clarified while refuting the news published in the media that the womb has been kept safe, that is, an investigation will be done. Both the sons of the deceased have denied any kind of allegation in the written application-
Whereas on the second day of the death, on 15th August, after the administration handed over the body after postmortem, the family members including the sons of the deceased reached the police station premises between 11:30 am to 02:00 pm and filed an O.D. It has been clarified in the application submitted to the officer Mantu Kumar that due to eating and drinking some food, his health deteriorated under suspicious circumstances and he was found dead before the doctors could provide him medical care.
Yes, the application was rejected because the date of 14th August was mentioned in the application, since the date of submitting the application was 15th August.
Due to which the family members including the two sons of the deceased went to cremate the body without submitting the application to the administration. If sources are to be believed, after the news was published in the media, the administration got the application written as per its wish and presented it to the senior officer on the second day. If the CCTV footage of the mentioned time in the police station premises on 15th August is seen, then some suspicious things related to the allegations of eating and drinking will be clear from the above application or through the news, because at the mentioned time, not one or two but many media persons were also present, through whom the sons of the deceased got the OD done. The copy of the application being handed over to the officer was saved in his mobile.
Now the question arises that in the news shown through the media, the brothers of the deceased are clarifying that his health deteriorated after consuming alcohol.
So is it not necessary for the sub-divisional officer to investigate the incident before refuting the news? Is it not necessary to wait for the Bhesra report to come?
Refutation of news without taking full information of the related incidents before the Bhesra report comes by the sub-divisional officer or refuting previously published news without investigating the spot by the media based only on the press release.
Somewhere it may be helpful for the criminals in increasing the crimes. The villagers told on the condition of anonymity that with the help of the administration, the matter is being hushed up by giving financial inducements to the relatives of the deceased. It is a matter of great concern whether the dead body can also be priced after death with the connivance of the administrative officers.
If it is said that due to the negligence of the officials, the administrative officials are the reason why the liquor ban law issued by the Bihar government seems insignificant on the ground, then it will not be wrong.
