ARA--------------------------Teacher's Day was celebrated with great joy and pomp in +2 High School Piro. In this program organized in the school premises, the students expressed their feelings dedicated to the teachers by giving colorful presentations. The ceremony was presided over by Principal Bhim Rai. The ceremony began with lighting the lamp and garlanding the picture of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Stage director Amit Kumar presented the entire ceremony in a well-organized and interesting manner. In the poem recitation, Prakash Chandra Ojha highlighted the importance of teachers with his poem, while in the song presentation, Abhay Upadhyay moved everyone by singing a melodious song. In the special presentation, Kush ji Kumar and Vikas Chandra received applause for their brilliant performance. The attraction of the program was the dance performances of the girl students. Akriti, Aanchal, Aayushi, Rajnandini, Riya, Priyanka, Srishti, Sonali, Lakshmi and Palak mesmerized the audience with their captivating performances and the auditorium reverberated with thunderous applause for a long time. The team of Beauty, Meenakshi, Ragini, Madhuri and Kajal presented a wonderful song in honour of the teachers. The performance of a student named Farzana was also superb. The students honoured the teachers by giving them bouquets and gifts. During this, the speakers expressed their views and said that teachers are the guides who show them the path of their life. On this occasion, the Principal Bhim Rai said in his address that “Teachers are the pivot of the society. It is with their guidance that students achieve success in life. He said that we should take inspiration from the ideals of Dr. Radhakrishnan and bring education into our lives.” The ceremony concluded with the national anthem and in the end the school family took a pledge in one voice that collectively, by lighting the lamp of education, we should contribute to the development of the society and the nation.
