NIA RAIDS IN THREE STATES INCLUDING BIHAR, 4 ARRESTED, ONE CRORE CASH AND AMMUNITION RECOVERED

PATNA----------------------------The NIA has once again taken major action in Bihar, conducting raids for 12 hours at seven locations in three districts. Two accused were arrested during these raids. The NIA carried out this major operation in connection with an arms trafficking case.

The NIA has also shared information regarding these raids, stating that simultaneous raids were conducted at 22 locations in three states on Thursday in connection with an arms trafficking case. The NIA conducted these operations in Bihar, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, where four accused were apprehended.

In Bihar, the NIA team raided Patna, Nalanda, and Sheikhpura. During this operation, Shashi Prakash was apprehended from Patna. Raids were also conducted at the house of Mohammad Parvez in the Baradari मोहल्ला of Bihar Police Station area in Nalanda and at the house of Rajendra Yadav in Bhagwan Bigha OP. They were also interrogated.

It is noteworthy that an arms trafficking racket was exposed in Nalanda on July 23, 2025. The Nalanda Police and STF recovered 717 live cartridges from the rented house of Abhijit Kumar alias Robin Rai in Asha Nagar, Sohrai police station area. 117 bullets were also recovered from his house in Bhagwan Bigha.

In Sheikhpura, the NIA raided Bhadaus and Jaimangala villages in the Sirari police station area in connection with the arms trafficking case. Guddu Singh alias Ravi Ranjan has been arrested. The team also seized a car from his house.

The NIA, while sharing information, stated that one crore rupees and a large quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered during these raids. Several digital electronic devices have also reportedly been recovered.
