A country-made pistol and a magazine have also been seized from the auto. But the criminals could not be caught. The police is identifying the criminals and conducting raids to arrest them. The auto is said to be of Vikas Kumar, a resident of Baulipur village of Jagdishpur police station area.

SP Raj issued a press statement on Monday and informed about the recovery of pistol, magazine and auto. According to the police, on Sunday night, a youth had reserved Vikas Kumar's auto from Bihiya in the name of going to Sahangi village of Gadhani police station area. On the way, he called two other miscreants and looted the auto and mobile near Asudhan village of Ayar police station area. After that Vikas Kumar somehow reached a nearby village and informed the police about the incident from the villagers' mobile.

As soon as the information was received, the police of Ayar police station became active and the criminals were chased under the leadership of SHO Sudhir Kumar. Here, the police of Gadhani police station also laid a siege. During the same time, seeing the police surrounded, the criminals left the auto near Ramdihra village and fled. Police have also recovered a country-made pistol and magazine from the auto. The police is engaged in identifying and arresting the criminals. Continuous raids are being conducted to arrest them.
