ARA-------------------------"If the mind is pure, then Ganga is in the pot" Everyone needs to understand the meaning of this statement of Guru Ravidas ji. Religion is gradually losing its real meaning, such great men have become the interpreters of religion who themselves do not know the meaning of religion, the meaning of religion is human upliftment, to remove the distortions of humans, not to create distortions. Religion is the medium of salvation and the symbol of religion is displayed only by the body, but it is only religion that cleanses the mind.

In the modern era, all our religions have become entangled in symbols only, the more those who mislead, the more religious they are, the more symbols they wear, the more religious they are, no one even considers those who wear shabby clothes as religious. Nowadays religion is not known by knowledge, not by mind, but only by symbols. If someone wears a cap, he is a Muslim, if someone wears a tilak, he is a Hindu, if someone wears a turban, he is a Sikh and if someone wears a cross, he is a Christian, these are the only identities of religions left. It seems that religion is only physical. Whereas our scriptures say that religion has no meaning in the body, the body is the lowest rung, and one starts being religious only when one rises above it, and if one gets stuck in the body or in the symbols, then it is not a religion, it is not a sect. If someone does not wear any of these symbols on his body, then he will not be religious, he will definitely be, because only when the mind is healed will the Ganges descend in the pot. Religion is needed only to heal the mind.

"Dhriti Kshama: Damo Asteya Shaucham Indriyanigraha. Dhirvidya Satyam Akrodho Dashakam Dharmalakshanam.." That is, where patience, forgiveness, self-control, non-stealing, cleanliness, self-control, intelligence, knowledge, truth and non-anger, these are the ten characteristics of religion which are not physical, but control of the mind, to clean the mind, to restrain the mind, to rise above the body. Our lifestyle is limited to the body only, we can try to control the mind through yoga. Kabir ji said that "If I get God by worshipping a stone, then I will worship a mountain, a mill is better than this which grinds the world", that is, what is said here is to get rid of the bondage of the symbols of religion, to be free from it. We have considered the symbols of religion as religion, have covered ourselves with them and have got stuck in another action by moving away from one action, getting entangled in symbols is also a karma.

Until we rise above the physical bondage, we cannot get salvation. Lust, anger, greed, attachment, jealousy, hatred, these are only the desires of the body, the body demands the best clothes, fashionable clothes, the body demands intoxication, beer, alcohol etc. Salvation is not attained after death, it will be attained in life only. How to get rid of the sorrow of the mind, this is the basis of Indian culture. One must make efforts every day to purify the mind. Wearing colourful clothes is not religion, it is a symbol. Adopting different worship methods is not religion, it is a symbol. Going to different pilgrimages is not religion, it is like going on a picnic to the symbols, which is happening nowadays. By wearing the cloak of false faith, people are pretending to be religious.

It is said in Valmiki Ramayana that forgiveness is religion. According to him, "Kshama daanam, Kshama satyam, Kshama yagyaashcha putrika, Kshama yash:, Kshama dharma, Kshamaya vishishta:. That is, forgiveness is charity, forgiveness is truth, forgiveness is yagya, forgiveness is fame and forgiveness is special. Here we want to say that follow the principles of religion, not the symbols, life will not change with symbols. Break the walls of your mind, only then will you be able to erase the darkness of your mind, otherwise you will die like this. Religion is the only tool by which all the sorrows of the mind are removed, attachment, greed, jealousy, hatred, ego are removed from the mind, this is liberation. Young friends, let's get rid of the symbols of religion together, remove the impurity of our mind and overcome all the sorrows of the world.
