PATNA-------------------------Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav is considered almost certain to become the Chief Minister in this Bihar Assembly election. This will have a clear impact on national politics. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are concerned by intelligence reports, as voter sentiment is clearly in Tejashwi Yadav's favor.
Social justice thinker and senior advocate Sudhir Kumar Pappu, a resident of Taraiya in Chhapra district, issued a statement saying that a crushing defeat for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal United (JDU) is certain in Bihar. The BJP lacks a strong Chief Ministerial candidate in Bihar, forcing them to rely on Nitish Kumar for support.
He said that the alliance of Congress, RJD, Left parties, and VIP is proving to be a strong candidate for the NDA this time. This time, the coincidence is quite auspicious—November 14th is the birth anniversary of the country's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and also the birthday of the youth leader, Tejashwi Yadav, and the election results are due on the same day. Therefore, the excitement and celebration among the people of Bihar will be worth seeing.
Pappu further stated that in neighboring Jharkhand, on November 15th, Birsa Munda Jayanti and Johar Jharkhand Day, Bihar's victory and social justice will be celebrated with great enthusiasm. Tejashwi Yadav's announcement of providing employment to "one person from every family" has played a masterstroke, leaving the BJP leadership apprehensive.
He said that this time, Bihar's voters will teach the BJP and JDU a befitting lesson. Previously, Prime Minister Narendra Modi used to mock opposition parties for distributing "rewadis" by waiving electricity and water bills. However, today, under the influence of Tejashwi Yadav, even the central government has been forced to announce that it will deposit ₹10,000 into the accounts of women in Bihar and provide 125 units of free electricity.
The public understands that after the elections, these promises will remain as mere “jumlas”, and Home Minister Amit Shah will say like last time that “all these were just election slogans, brother.”
