BHABHUA-----------------------------Farmers and administration were face to face regarding the construction work of Bharat Mala Project Banaras Ranchi to Kolkata Expressway. In the morning, amidst the protest of the farmers, the administration, with the help of the police, succeeded in trampling 300 meters of paddy crop. On Friday afternoon, the farmers gathered and stopped the work. Despite a lot of efforts by the Sub-Divisional Officer Bhabhua Land Acquisition Officer Kaimur, the farmers did not allow the JCB machine to trample the paddy crop on the land acquired in the Bharat Mala Project. Throughout the day, a group of farmers stood on one side and the Kaimur administration stood with heavy security forces. Throughout the day, a game of hide and seek was going on between the police and the farmers. The farmers were completely united to save their paddy crop. After the harsh attitude of the farmers, the police accepted defeat and returned. Leaders of many political parties held talks with the Sub-Divisional Officer, Bhabua and Land Acquisition Officer, Kaimur, demanding a ban on trampling of farmers' crops. Amidst the clash between farmers and administration, former minister Braj Kishore Bind, Congress leader Ashok Upadhyay and Bahujan Samaj Party leader Dheeraj Kumar Singh were seen trying to mediate between the farmers and the administration. Sub-Divisional Officer Manoj Kumar and Land Acquisition Officer Sanjeev Kumar Sajjan said that we are bound by the hands of law. We are bound by the orders of PMO and CMO. The Sub-Divisional Officer said that we cannot stop the work until orders come from above. The farmers said that we will not allow the paddy crop planted with our hard work and cost to be trampled. By the order of the Sub-Divisional Officer, a case has been registered against seven farmer leaders and the police is conducting raids. Chand police picked up farmer Amit Ranjan Singh of Vairy village at 2 o'clock in the night and brought him to the police station. As soon as the news spread like fire, hundreds of farmers reached the police station in the morning and started demanding the release of Amit Ranjan Singh. The police bowed to the pressure of the farmers and released Amit Ranjan Singh on bail. The farmers were gathered at Chand police station when the sub-divisional officer started work in Karwandiya village with the help of police force. Some of the farmers present tried to save the crop. The police stopped the farmers and the administration succeeded in trampling 300 meters of paddy crop. Later, a large number of farmers under the leadership of farmer leader Pashupati Nath Singh, Anil Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Tuntun Singh, Gajjan Singh stopped the work of Bharat Mala project. Seeing the protest of the farmers, the administration was forced to return. The game of hide and seek between the farmers and the Kaimur administration has been going on since August 19. The protest of the farmers is becoming bitter. Till now the farmers are protesting with restraint, if the farmers lose their temper, the result can be terrible.
