BHABHUA MLA INAUGURATES HEALTHY WOMEN, EMPOWERED FAMILY CAMPAIGN

BHABHUA--------------------------A health fair was organized on Wednesday at the CSC located at the block headquarters as part of the Healthy Women, Empowered Family Campaign, run by the Healthy Women, Empowered Family. Bhabua MLA Bharat Bind inaugurated the fair. This campaign is being celebrated as a fortnightly event commemorating the birthday of Honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, running from September 17th to October 2nd, the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Its objective is to improve the health of women and children. In-charge Medical Officer Dr. Ramesh Kumar stated that programs are being organized at the Ayushman Arogya Mandir Community Health Center (CSC) and other health facilities as part of this campaign. These camps specifically provide free screening, treatment, and essential health services for women and children. The camps being set up during the program will screen for blood pressure, diabetes, anemia, cataracts, visual impairment, vision loss, and sickle cell disease. The honorable MLA had his blood pressure and sugar levels checked during the examination and said, "I pay special attention to health, cleanliness, and education; all-round development is possible only through education." Present on the occasion were Dr. Neeraj Kumar, BHM Jaiprakash Singh, BCM Rakesh Kumar, Shiv Shankar Singh, all ANMs, and health workers.
