ARA-------------------------The aim of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is not limited to the organization only. It works to strengthen ethical, cultural and social values in the society, develop discipline and dedication in each individual and contribute to nation building. The philosophy of the organization is tolerant; it is not against any religion, caste or community. The word Hindu means not only religion but also responsibility, devotion and commitment towards the society. The organization works to free the society from factionalism and establish unity in vividness. The centenary journey is a dedication and a confirmation of the organization. Under the guidance of organization head Mohan Bhagwat, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh organized a Teen Divyang Lecture in Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi on the occasion of its centenary year. This event was not just an event but a living demonstration of the Sangh's ideology, its actions and its society-building journey. The Sangh was built with India at the centre and its aim is to contribute in making the country a Vishwaguru. The prayer of the Sangh "Bharat Mata ki Jai" is not just words but the inspiration of action and dedication. The formation of the Sangh is the result of a slow and continuous process which stood the test of time. Though the organization uses the word ‘Hindu’, its meaning is not limited to religion alone. It imbibes the feeling of harmony, humanity and responsibility towards the nation. The aim of the organization is not to stand up for any opposition or competition but to maintain unity of the country by organizing different sections of the society. The work of the organization is conducted through volunteers and this work also provides an opportunity for training the volunteers, creating leadership and responsible development in them. The concept of a nation is not defined by power or government. In the Indian tradition, the meaning of a nation is linked with culture, self-reflection and social consciousness. On looking at history, it becomes clear that the freedom struggle of 1857 was successful, but it did not give birth to consciousness and self-awareness in the Indian society. After this, Congress rose, which paved the way for political understanding and social reform. After independence, there remained the challenge of removing the inequality and evils prevailing in the society. This need gave birth to the establishment of Sangh and its role. Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgevar and other great men recognized the need of removing the evils of the society and organizing a complete society. Sangh was established in 1925 with the vision that the ethical and cultural values of the society should be strong and its contribution in nation building should be ensured. The word ‘Hindu’ is not just a religion but a symbol of responsibility, surrender and community. There is no intention of separating or opposing anyone but the aim is to unite everyone and organize the society. The nature of India is of cooperation and harmony, not of conflict. Its unity lies in the tradition of ghosts, resources and self-reflection. Instead of looking outside, when we look inside, it becomes clear that there is only one element in everything, even if it appears in different forms. This is the reason why Mother India and our ancestors are worshipable for us. The person who respects Mother India and his ancestors is a true Hindu. Words may change, but the feeling of devotion and faith connects every person of the society. Slowly people in the society start understanding the meaning of the words Sangh and Hindu. By improving the quality of life people return to their basic traditions. The Sangh does not force anyone to be a Hindu; its aim is to contribute to the organization of society and nation building. The Sangh is not against any religion, caste or group but organizes the society by uniting everyone with a common vision. The work of the Sangh is not limited to the organization only. Its aim is to develop ethical, cultural and social values within every individual of the society. The main objective of the organization is to bring awareness and research in the society. Personal dedication and research have special importance in the activities of the organization. Each volunteer internalizes the basic spirit and work style of the organization and implements it in the society. The aim of the organization is that there should be no factionalism in the society, but everyone should be organized and there should be unity in the country. Unity is its real identity in the vividness of India. Irrespective of different languages, religions, cultures and traditions, the identity of India lies in its soul, culture and respect for its ancestors. The aim of the organization is to maintain this unity and to unite the individual members of the society. has to be made participants in this. The worker of the organization works on the levels of individual development, social upliftment and nation building. Through the medium of the organization, ethical and cultural values are being strengthened in the society. Through the activities of the organization, the spirit of discipline, dedication and service is communicated in the society. The aim of the organization is not limited only to the volunteers but its influence is to be made available to every section of the society. There is a balance between individual efforts and organizational vision in the activities of the Sangh. The aim of the Sangh is that every individual of the society should understand his/her actions and contribute in nation building. Vyakhyaanamala has thrown clear light on the establishment of the Sangh, the meaning of Hindu words, organizational vision, social service and the process of nation building. With the quality of life improving, people return to their original traditions.
