BHABHUA---------------------------A heartbreaking incident has unfolded in the Zaidpur Panchayat of the district's Bhagwanpur block. The discovery of a woman's blood-soaked body in a mustard field near Yadav Mor on Friday morning sent shockwaves through the area. The most heartbreaking aspect of this murder was that the deceased's one-year-old infant remained lying beside his mother's body all night. The deceased has been identified as Pinky Devi, wife of Upendra Musahar, a resident of Khadiha Musahar Tola. The incident has sparked panic in the area and widespread anger among the villagers. According to reports, Pinky Devi had gone with her husband to withdraw money from a self-help group. It is reported that while returning home late in the evening, unknown assailants took advantage of the deserted road and attacked her with a knife. Pinky Devi died tragically on the spot in this fatal attack. The killers fled after committing the crime, while the woman's innocent child lay weeping beside his mother's body in the bitter cold all night. Around 10 a.m. on Friday, some villagers went to the fields and heard a child crying. Following the sound, they reached the mustard field and were horrified to find the woman's body. Police were immediately informed of the incident. Upon receiving the information, Bhagwanpur Police Station Officer Chandrashekhar Sharma arrived at the scene with a heavy police force. Police safely removed the crying child and took the body into custody and sent it for a post-mortem examination. The police team collected several crucial evidence from the scene and began questioning nearby residents.

Following this brutal murder, the deceased's family is inconsolable. They have demanded the administration's immediate arrest and severe punishment for the killers. Meanwhile, police officials say that a thorough investigation is underway into the motive behind the murder and that the culprits will soon be brought to justice and the culprits will be put behind bars.
