THREE WOMEN LIQUOR SMUGGLERS ARRESTED

BHABHUA--------------------------Durgawati police, under the jurisdiction of the Durgawati police station, arrested four people, including three women, with 105 liters of illegal country-made and foreign liquor during vehicle checks at two separate locations between Tuesday midnight and Wednesday morning. Police conducted this operation on National Highway 19 and Link Road. Three of the four arrested are female smugglers, identified as Vindhyachali Devi, Suman Devi of Dalmia Nagar, Shamshan Ghat, Rohtas, and Manju Devi of Keshovpur Son Nagar, Barun police station, Aurangabad district. Police also recovered 38,000 in cash from one of the women.

The fourth smuggler is identified as Mulayam Yadav, a resident of Barhara village. According to police information, 51 liters of foreign liquor was recovered from Mulayam Yadav, while 54 liters of country-made liquor was recovered from the other three women. Giving information in this regard, Durgawati police station chief Girish Kumar said that during a vehicle check on Tuesday midnight, the police recovered 51 liters of English liquor from a smuggler Mulayam Yadav. The police took this action near Link Road Rahari Kasthari. Meanwhile, during a vehicle check on NH 19 early Wednesday morning, the police recovered a total of 104 liters of Blue Line country liquor from three women. While 38 thousand cash was also seized from a female smuggler. The police is taking further legal action against the four after seizing the liquor.
