-On the instructions of Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania, a workshop and oath ceremony on the theme of a "Child Marriage Free India" was held in the District Collectorate auditorium, chaired by the District Development Commissioner (DDC). The innovative ICDS program, "Mission Child Nutrition Protection," was also launched on this occasion. ARA---------------------------On the instructions of Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania, a workshop and oath ceremony on the theme of a "Child Marriage Free India" was held in the District Collectorate auditorium, chaired by the District Development Commissioner (DDC). The innovative ICDS program, "Mission Child Nutrition Protection," was also launched on this occasion. The program was jointly inaugurated by the Deputy Development Commissioner, District Program Officer, District Project Manager, and Child Development Project officials.

Giving information about the "Mission Child Nutrition Protection" program, the DDC stated that its objective is to bring children in the SAM/MAM category into the general category through special monitoring and proper care. Instructions were given for continuous monitoring of children's height, height, and other nutritional parameters.

Furthermore, the DDC informed about the "Beti Janmotsav-Kanya Ratna" program under the district administration's initiative, the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana (Save the Girl Child, Educate the Girl Child), stating that under this program, girl children and their families are being linked to 25 public welfare schemes upon the birth of a girl child. Describing child marriage as a social evil and a legal crime, he addressed the officials, parents, teachers, and other officials present. The girl students were administered an oath against child marriage.

In the programme, Sunita Kumari, Secretary Disha-Ek Prayas, through a PPT, gave detailed information on the ill effects of child marriage and its prevention. The District Manager Piramal Foundation appealed to inform the administration about child marriage and informed about its legal punishment.

District Programme Officer ICDS and District Project Manager Women and Child Development Corporation also described child marriage as a social evil. At the end of the programme, sanitary pads and T-shirts bearing the logo of Child Marriage Free India campaign were distributed among the girl students.
