PATNA--------------------------During the prize distribution in the night cricket tournament, the criminals fired indiscriminately and injured three people including Anjani Mukhiya. The conspiracy to murder Anjani Mukhiya was hatched a month before the incident behind the temple in Aspura. The murder of Anjani Mukhiya was decided with Santosh Yadav and Billa alias Ranjan. Ritu Raj and Ravish had given a contract of Rs 50 lakh for the murder of Anjani Mukhiya and a Bolero car was also to be given after the incident.

On 21st May 2025, around 11 pm, the criminals fled towards Ranital on a motorcycle after carrying out the incident. Rituraj, involved in the incident, called someone, after which a white colored pickup van came. All the criminals involved in the incident gave the motorcycle to a boy who had come there and fled to Paliganj in a pickup. From there, all of them fled in their own ways. After four months, the shooter Santosh Kumar and liner Bablu Kumar involved in the incident have been arrested and sent to jail.

At the time of the incident, 5 mobile phones were active, including mobile numbers 9955649300 (Santosh Kumar, currently in Beur Jail), 6201131598 (Bablu Kumar, currently in Beur Jail), 8292300308 (Abhishek Yadav). The name and address have been verified but they are said to be absconding. 7488231964 (Chandan Kumar), 9065833530 (Ranjan Kumar), both are said to be absconding. The mobile numbers of Rituraj and Ravish, who gave the contract to Anjani Mukhiya, could not be revealed. The call details of these 5 numbers will reveal who else was involved in the incident.

Anjani Mukhiya has accused Anil Yadav alias Ganori Yadav and Rajesh Yadav of shooting him. However, Anil Yadav alias Ganori Yadav and Rajesh Yadav had applied for investigation claiming themselves innocent. Investigations are being conducted regarding Anil Yadav alias Ganori Yadav and Rajesh Kumar. Before the incident, Anjani Mukhiya had lodged a complaint in Ranital police station fearing danger to him. If the police had been alert in Anjani Mukhiya's case, perhaps the incident would not have happened. A poor farmer was also injured along with Anjani Mukhiya in the night cricket tournament, whose health is deteriorating day by day and he is struggling between life and death every day. On the other hand, instead of taking action, the police is having fun with their ears covered.
