PATNA----------------------RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, and his son and Bihar Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav performed special puja at the historic Vishnupad temple in Gaya during Pitru Paksha. During this, the parents (Lalu-Rabri) paid emotional tribute to their ancestors by performing Pind Daan on the banks of the Falgu river.

Every year during Pitru Paksha, a huge fair is organized in Gaya, in which lakhs of devotees from the country and abroad come here to perform Tarpan and Pind Daan of their ancestors. This religious ritual is considered very important for the peace of the soul of the ancestors. Lalu family coming to Gaya and performing this ritual was a major event of the Pitru Paksha fair this year.

Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi performed Pind Daan as per traditional customs. At the same time, Tejashwi Yadav was also present with them during this time. This religious journey also highlighted his family and spiritual side, beyond the political corridors. This information was shared by Tejashwi Yadav himself through social media, in which he told that he and his family have paid homage to their ancestors by performing Pind Daan in Gaya.
