CRIMINAL ARRESTED FOR EXTORTING MONEY FROM  TRUCK DRIVERS WEARING POLICE T-SHIRT

ARA------------------------Police in Koilwar, Bhojpur has arrested a criminal who was extorting money from truck drivers. He was forcibly extorting money from drivers near Dhandiha village wearing a checkered police T-shirt. The arrested criminal is Sikandar alias Mohd. Ghyasuddin, resident of Dhandiha village. A checkered police T-shirt, Rs 2400 and a torch have been recovered from him.

SP Raj has issued a press statement informing about the arrest. It was told that on Thursday night, police received information that some people were forcibly extorting money from truck drivers near Dhandiha village wearing checkered police T-shirt. On receiving the information, police reached under the leadership of SHO Narottam Chandra and arrested him.

According to the SHO, the arrested Sikandar alias Mohd. Ghyasuddin was arrested and sent to jail last year also for extorting money from truck drivers. He has also gone to jail in another case. After coming out on bail from jail, he was again engaged in extorting money from truck drivers. Other people involved in extortion are being identified by interrogating him.
