The Bharatiya Janata Party has launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra, which is starting from Rohtas district of Bihar on August 17. In a press conference held at the BJP district office on Saturday, BJP national spokesperson Ajay Alok termed Rahul Gandhi as borrowed Gandhi. He raised the question that why are Congress leaders opposing SIR? Do they not want fake voters to be removed from the voter list and illegal intruders to be thrown out of the country? Alok clarified that the state and central government are going to take strict action on this issue soon.

Spokesperson Ajay Alok also attacked former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav. He questioned that from where did Tejashwi Yadav get two voter cards? The Election Commission has already rejected one of his voter cards. In such a situation, he should tell whether the second card came from Bangladesh or is a part of Pakistan's conspiracy.

Alok said that the leaders of opposition parties including Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav only want to spread chaos in the country. First the Election Commission, then ED, CBI, Income Tax Department and now the Supreme Court - the opposition is targeting these institutions. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav have taken the contract of spreading chaos, but both are badly trapped on the issue of SIR and are running away to avoid the notice of the Election Commission.

Ajay Alok also mentioned the achievements of the government on this occasion. He said that expressways, engineering colleges and medical colleges are opening in Rohtas. Work is being done to provide electricity and water to every house. This time NDA will contest the elections with its achievements and vision. He quipped that most of the people who will be a part of Rahul Gandhi's yatra are out on bail and corruption runs in their veins.

The BJP spokesperson claimed that Congress and the grand alliance will be defeated in the district Rahul Gandhi will pass through. He predicted that the grand alliance will get less than 25 seats, while the NDA will win a huge majority by winning 225 seats in Bihar.

Alok said that in view of the possible defeat, the entire opposition is preparing a protective shield against the Election Commission so that the blame can be put on the commission after the defeat. He stressed that this time the NDA is in the fray with five constituent parties and the opposition will have to bear heavy losses due to this.
