ARA--------------------------At Paramanpur Chaturmasya Vrat Sthal, India's great sage Saint Param Pujya Shri Lakshmiprapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj, while preaching, said that women should not behave independently and freely. Dhol, Ganwar, Shudra, Pashu, Nari, all these are the officers of Taaran, while explaining this quatrain, Swami Ji said that the meaning of the word is according to the context. The meaning of the word is not only according to the word but according to the situation, time. In Shri Ramcharitmanas composed by Tulsidas Ji, this quatrain was not said by Tulsidas Ji or Shri Ram Ji. This quatrain was said by the sea.
When the sea was prayed to for three days. When Lord Shri Ram did not regulate its behavior even after praying to the sea for three days, then Ram Ji got angry and put an arrow on the bow to dry the sea. Then the ocean appeared and told Shri Ram ji about its conduct through this chaupaayi. In this chaupaayi, drums, uneducated, Shudras, animals, women have been discussed. The word Taadan has been used as a verb with it.
The word Taadan means to know, experience, understand, tell etc. A Shudra is one who strays from his conduct, food, behaviour, company. He is called a Shudra, irrespective of the caste he belongs to. A uneducated person is one who expresses his views without knowing, without understanding, without information, he is called uneducated. The word Dhol is in the chaupaayi, along with which there is the word Taadna. Here, if you take the meaning of Taadna to be beating, then if you beat the drum with a stick, its sound will be spoilt.
That is why, if you understand the word Taadan as only beating, then it is absolutely wrong. Here, the word Tadnaa with Dhol means a player who has experience, experience, knowledge, knowledge, understanding and plays the Dhol correctly. The word Tadnaa has been used here for that. The word Pashu (animal) is also included in this which means to protect, take care of, to monitor. If you leave the animal free, it will go astray. The word Nari (woman) has also been added in the quatrain. The word Tadnaa comes with it. Here, the word Tadnaa with Nari does not mean beating. Rather, the woman has been told to abandon her independent, free conduct, behavior, company.
Because women have been told to stay within the limits of their guardian. If a woman lives in her father's house, then she should stay within the limits of her father, brother, Baba, Dada. If a woman lives in her in-laws' house after marriage, then she should stay within the limits of her husband, father-in-law, brother-in-law. If the woman has become old, then she should stay within the limits of her son, grandson. Because whenever women adopt independent behavior, they have to face wrong results.
No matter how much educated women are, hold a high position, or go to space, they should still stay within the limits of their guardian. Reading and writing is a good thing. But independent movement for women is forbidden in the scriptures. Sati did not follow the words of Shankar ji. She doubted Lord Shri Ram. As a result, despite Shankar ji's refusal, Sati took the form of Sita ji and went to Lord Shri Ram to test him. The result of going was very wrong.
Lord Shri Ram folded his hands and bowed down. He said, mother where are you going alone. Where is Shankar ji. After which Sati's doubt ended, but she had to pay a very big price for it. Once Sati's father King Daksha was performing a yagya. Shankar ji did not get an invitation in that yagya. Sati was asking Shankar ji to go to her father's yagya. Shankar Ji forbade Sati to go to a place where she was not invited. But ignoring Shankar Ji's words, Sati decided to go to her father's yagna. As a result, Sati had to die in the yagna itself. That is why whenever women have ignored the words of their guardians, it has had a negative impact on society, culture and nation.
Under the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, a 1000-year-long ritual has been performed in the presence of 88000 saints and great men in the holy region of Naimisharanya. Which is being welcomed by Shaunak Rishi. Where Ugrasarva Sut Ji, son of Lomaharshan Sut Ji, is adorning the Vyas throne. Shaunak Ji asks Sut Ji, Maharaj, what should a person do whose death is certain. Sut Ji says that once King Parikshit asked the same question to Shukdev Ji, son of Vyas Ji, on the holy banks of the Ganga. Shukdev ji says that those whose death is certain should do yoga sadhna.
Yoga sadhna does not only mean many types of asanas, but in yoga sadhna, one has to stabilize one's mind, body, soul and soul and connect one's mind with the supreme God. Sadhna, connecting the mind with the supreme God is called yoga sadhna. Actually, there are many types of yoga. In which many asanas have been described. Ashtang yoga, Sukhasan etc. many types of yoga sadhna are done. In normal life also, yoga sadhna has been told to make a person healthy, beautiful and stable. The same Shukdev ji is telling Vyas ji to do yoga sadhna.
Swami ji also threw light on the yoga sadhna of Agastya Rishi in this context. He said that in Varanasi, Agastya Rishi used to do penance sadhna on the holy banks of Ganga ji. Agastya Rishi was such a great saint that when the people of India were in trouble, he used to do penance sadhna on the holy banks of Ganga ji. Then there was the British ruler, at a time when discussions were going on in the whole of India that India has to be freed on 15th August 1947. The British rule has to be ended. The ruler of that time had sent his intelligence agencies to different places in India to gather information. Wherever people went, they heard that India has to be freed on 15th August. When the British intelligence people started informing the ruler about this, they told that there was a sage named August 1 who had drunk the entire water of the Ganges in one go. When August 1 used to dry up all the water in one go, then imagine what will happen when August 15 will come together. Now that British ruler started thinking that this August was a very strange man. In this way, he will destroy the whole world. In this way, the British had to leave India fearing the penance of August Rishi. By the way, many brave warriors played an important role in the freedom of India with their strength and bravery. But the British started sweating on hearing the name of such a great sage. Once in the competition of mountains, Sumeru mountain was made the king. Due to which Vindh mountain became angry. The same mountain which is present in the Kaimur hill area of Bihar.
Now in anger, Vindh mountain started growing so much that it went and touched the sky. Due to which it was not possible to know the night and day on the whole earth. When is it night, when is it day. The whole operation was spoiled. Due to which the sages, Maharishi, Gods were troubled. After that, the sages and Maharishi informed Brahma ji about this matter. But Brahma ji refused to interfere in any way. After which the sages, Maharishi, Gods also went to Lord Vishnu. But he also refused to interfere in this.
After which everyone went to Shankar ji. He also refused. Then all the people requested that Maharaj, please suggest some solution. Shankar Ji said that the Guru of Vindh Parvat is Agastya Rishi. If Agastya Rishi tells him, he will agree. At that time, Agastya Rishi was doing penance in Varanasi. Where Shankar Ji, Brahma Ji and Rishis, Maharshis, Gods all came. All the people told Agastya Rishi that Maharaj, please explain to your disciple. Because the daily routine of people on this earth has been disturbed.
Agastya Rishi said that we are doing penance here. We worship on the banks of Ganga Ji. We visit Lord Vishwanath Ji daily. We cannot go from here. Shankar Ji said that Maharaj, wherever you stay, we will be present there for you. Agastya Rishi said that we also take bath in Ganga Ji daily. How will we be able to do our daily routine. Shankar Ji said that wherever you stay, Ganga Ji will also be present there. Then Agastya Rishi left to go to his disciple Vindha Parvat.
As soon as the mountain saw Agastya Rishi, it prostrated itself. Due to which the mountain which was touching the sky came down. The same Gods and Rishis said that Maharaj, you do not stop, keep moving forward. In this way, Agastya Rishi kept moving forward and went to Maharashtra. Due to Agastya Rishi, the mountain came back to its position. After which the daily routine of the people became normal. Agastya Rishi was not an ordinary ascetic. Agastya Rishi was a very great ascetic sage Maharishi. As a result of his sacrifice, dedication, penance, sadhana, all of us living beings have got great welfare.
