GOVERNMENT SHOULD DIRECT STUDENTS WHO MISSED EXAMS TOK RE-CONDUCT EXAMS: BHAI DINESH

21-FEB-ENG 1

RAJIV NAYAN AGRAWAL

ARA--------------------------It is extremely unfortunate and inhumane to deprive students who arrive late by just two, three, or five minutes during the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations. It is unjust to throw away a student's entire year's hard work due to such a small delay.

Many students travel to examination centers from remote rural areas. Traffic congestion, lack of transportation, technical glitches, or other unforeseen circumstances can cause minor delays. In such circumstances, the government should adopt a humanitarian approach and give special consideration.

They have demanded that the state government and the Education Department immediately issue instructions to conduct re-examinations for students who were denied exams due to minor delays, so that their futures can be secured.

Education is not a means of punishment, but a means of providing opportunities. The government should demonstrate sensitivity and take concrete decisions in the interest of students. If positive initiatives are not taken in this direction, voices will be raised democratically in support of student interests.
