By encroaching Shahpur-Karnamepur road, pond and school land and setting up shops, thousands of rupees are being collected by the bullies every month.

Due to this, the problem of jam is constantly created here. Due to which the vehicles which run fast are forced to crawl and people remain troubled in the jam for hours. The people of the market are troubled by the encroachment of the road and making shops. Every day there is a problem of jam for hours in Karnamepur market.

The main reason is that about 40 shops have been set up on the banks of the government pond and the road by filling it. Due to which 500 to 1000 rupees are collected as rent from each. A shopkeeper told that the people who have land on the west side of the road, the same people collect rent from the shops built on the east side of the road, on the banks of the pond and on the roadside. This business has been going on for many years. But if someone complains, he is threatened and silenced.

However, many agitations were also done to free the roadside and the banks of the pond from encroachment. But nothing could proceed beyond the measurement of the pond land. The same situation is near the school land. Here also people collect money by setting up shops on the roadside. No official has anything to say in this regard. Whereas every day some official passes through this road.
