DELHI-------------------------Before Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, NDA has an edge in BJP's internal survey but the difference in vote share is said to be very less. Prashant Kishore's entry has made the contest interesting. The leadership is worried about the report of division in BJP's caste core votes.*
The bugle of assembly elections is going to be blown in Bihar in the coming time. All the leaders are busy preparing for this. Efforts are being made by the parties of the ruling and opposition to strengthen their hold at the ground level. The parties of NDA and Mahagathbandhan are trying to understand the ground strength. The minds of the voters are being probed through the survey. On the basis of the survey report, NDA is busy making further strategy. The reports coming from the ground level show a fierce fight between NDA and Mahagathbandhan. Prashant Kishor is also seen making his mark by building a mass base.
Elections will be held in Bihar in the month of October-November. Before this, the election bugle will be blown in the month of September itself. In such a situation, very little time is left in the electoral Mahabharata. Therefore, the leadership of all the parties is busy making strategies for the election. The Bharatiya Janata Party has conducted several surveys so far. The survey is to know the opinion of voters about its potential candidates, performance of sitting MLAs, assembly-wise caste equations, various issues, the functioning of the government. On this basis, the party is busy making further strategies.
In the internal survey of the Bharatiya Janata Party, a tough competition is seen between the NDA and the Grand Alliance. Although the survey shows the NDA getting an edge, but the difference is very less. Trustworthy sources say that in the internal survey of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the NDA is seen forming the government again in Bihar. As of today, NDA is likely to get 42.2 percent vote share, while Mahagathbandhan is likely to get 39.1 percent votes. Prashant Kishor, who is contesting Bihar assembly elections for the first time, his party Jansuraj is said to be at number three. Jansuraj Party can get 5.2 percent votes. While 13.5 percent votes are seen going to others. However, after special voter revision, a large number of voters' names have been removed from the voter list. In such a situation, some change is possible in it.
It is said that Bharatiya Janata Party has also conducted a survey of caste votes. A report has also been prepared on which caste voters can vote in favor of which alliance-party. It has come to light in the party's internal survey that the trend of upper caste votes has increased towards Prashant Kishor. The upper caste vote on which Bharatiya Janata Party considered its monopoly may suffer a setback. In the report, due to the increasing support base, 10 percent of the upper caste votes are said to be going towards Prashant Kishore's party Jansuraj. 13 percent of the upper caste votes can go towards the Grand Alliance. At the same time, 66 percent of the upper caste votes are expected to go to the NDA. Apart from this, 11 percent vote share has been given to others.
The most votes of the backward class are said to go in favor of the NDA. In the backward class, 60 percent votes can go to NDA, 19 percent to the Grand Alliance, 03 percent to Jansuraj and 18 percent to others. Both the alliances are almost equal in Mahadalit votes. NDA-40, Grand Alliance-38, Jansuraj-4 and 18 percent votes can go to others. In the non-Yadav backward class, the maximum votes are expected to go to the NDA, from this class 80 votes can go to NDA, 15 to Mahagathbandhan, 3 to Prashant Kishor and 2 percent to others.
BJP's internal survey report has predicted a split in the Paswan vote. Some percentage of votes can go to Mahagathbandhan. In the report, 22 percent of Paswan votes are seen going towards Mahagathbandhan. Prashant Kishor's party has also got 3 percent votes. At the same time, most of the Yadav votes are seen going to Mahagathbandhan. According to the report, 84 percent of the Yadav community's votes are expected to go to the account of RJD-Congress and other parties of the alliance. 12 percent votes have been given to NDA, 2 to Jansuraj and 2 percent to others.
Let us tell you, there was a close contest between NDA and Mahagathbandhan in the 2020 assembly elections. The difference in vote share between the two alliances was very less. While NDA got 37.3% votes, the Mahagathbandhan got 37.2% votes. Whereas LJP got 05.66% votes.
