ARA---------------------------On the occasion of Mokshada Ekadashi Srimadbhagvadgita birth anniversary, the speakers threw light on the universal message of Gita in the Srimadbhagvadgita recitation and scholarly seminar organized by Srisanatan Shaktipeeth Sansthanam and Sanatan-Surasari Seva Trust at Badi Mathia. The program was presided over by Mahant Shri Ramkinkar Das Ji Maharaj. While introducing the topic, the President of the institute, renowned Bhagwat spokesperson Acharya Dr. Bharatbhushan Pandey said that in the Bhishma Parva of Mahabharata, Lord Shri Krishna has given the sermon of Shrimadbhagwadgita to Arjun. In the battlefield of Mahabharata, Arjun, sitting on the chariot between the two armies, saw his relatives desirous of war. He felt sad. How can anyone be happy after killing his own relatives? Lord Shri Krishna said that following one's own religion and one's own religion is the best. Acharya stated that Arjuna was concerned about mixed race, while Lord Krishna was also concerned about mixed karma. He stated that the elixir of all the Upanishads is the Bhagavad Gita, which has universal and timeless significance and application. Delivering his inaugural address, the President of the Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, Senator Prof. Dr. Baliraj Thakur, stated that the Gita is the path to human life. It is the greatest science for streamlining every aspect of social life and removing all sorrow. Discussing the Gita's indelible impact on the lives of Mahatma Gandhi, Acharya Vinoba Bhave, and others, he urged today's young generation to connect with the Gita. Keynote speaker Dr. Gaurishankar Tiwari, while summarizing the Gita's eighteen chapters, described the means of knowledge, action, and devotion, and urged them to embrace yoga. Chief guest Prof. Dr. Nandji Dubey, while highlighting the importance of Karma Yoga, stressed on the observance of scriptural duties in society. He emphasized on the plan to make the new generation aware of the thoughts on the Gita by great men like Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya, Maharishi Arvind Ghosh, Swami Vivekananda, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar and Lokmanya Tilak. Prof. Dr. Pushpa Dwivedi described the devotion and surrender described in the Gita as the basic mantra of life. In his presidential address, Mahant Shri Ramkinkar Das Ji Maharaj said that like a mother, the Gita nourishes all living beings and is the ultimate support for humans. All the Acharyas have praised the Gita wholeheartedly. Secretary Satyendra Narayan Singh conducted the proceedings, Ramprakash Pandey delivered the welcome address and Mahant Swami Ayodhyanath Das Ji Maharaj gave the vote of thanks. On this occasion, prominent people like senior advocate Indradev Pandey, Radha Prasad Pathak, Vishwanath Dubey, Mahendra Pandey, Janardan Mishra, Shashikant Tiwari, Rajendra Ram, Brajkishore Pandey, Ashok Kumar, Nilesh Mishra, Vinay Ojha, Madan Mohan, Shivdas Singh, Divyanand Singh etc. worshipped the Gita.
