DELHI-----------------------Questions are now being raised about the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process of voter lists in the country. A heated debate is raging on social media regarding the Election Commission's working style, fears of names being deleted from the voter list, and the increasing pressure on Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

The SIR process is currently underway in Uttar Pradesh, and questions about this process are being raised daily. Many shocking cases are also coming to light. Meanwhile, a very surprising incident has come to light when, during this process, the names of Bollywood's King Amitabh Bachchan and his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan were found included in the voter list.

The emergence of these names has once again raised questions about this process. People want to know how such names got included in the list.

According to media reports, Amitabh Bachchan's name and house number 54 Orchha Gate, Khushipura area, are listed on the voter list. Furthermore, it is being said that the actor also cast his vote in 2003. The list lists his age as 76.

House number 54, which was registered in Amitabh Bachchan's name, was also registered in the name of Surendra Kumar (76), son of Rajesh Kumar. Both voters' names appeared on the list at numbers 543 and 544, respectively.

But the matter became more complicated when a temple was actually located at house number 54. The revelation of these names caused a stir within the administration, sparked a turmoil within the department, and demands for an investigation grew.

Currently, discussions regarding accountability within the department have become increasingly heated, and the matter is rapidly heating up.

While Mamata Banerjee's government in Bengal has launched a campaign against the Election Commission on this issue, Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh has been continuously questioning the government and the Election Commission's intentions on this issue.
