WHY SHOULD THE HINDI CAMPAIGN BE CONFINED TO A DAY?

Hindi Day should not remain just a formal celebration, but it should become a permanent part of our consciousness and life. Language is not just a medium of communication, but it is an identity of culture, tradition and self-esteem. If we adopt Hindi easily in our home, education, technology and workplace, then only its real expansion will be possible. Learning English is not bad, but it is much more important to respect Hindi and keep it alive in everyday life. Living Hindi every moment is the true Hindi Day.

PATNA-----------------------------Hindi Day should not remain just a formal celebration, but it should become a permanent part of our consciousness and life.

Hindi Day is celebrated every year on 14 September. This day gives us an opportunity to think about where Hindi stands today in our society, education, literature and technology. But one question always arises—should the respect of a language be limited to celebrating it only on one day? Language is the flow of life, it flows with us every day, every moment. That is why this couplet shakes us that why should the Hindi campaign be confined to a day? Hindi is the life of Indians. It should be ingrained in our breath.

Hindi is not just a language, but the identity and soul of crores of Indians. This language connects us, expresses our culture and forms the thread of unity in the diversity of the country. English may be the language of science and technology, but Hindi is the language of our hearts. To limit it only to speeches, events and government formalities is to belittle its importance.

In today's era, it has become even more necessary that we do not limit Hindi to one day. The dominance of English has increased so much that people have started believing that success is guaranteed only by learning English. Parents consider sending their children to English medium schools as a security for their future. But this is a deep misconception. The countries of the world which have progressed—Japan, Korea, China, Germany—have made their mother tongues the basis of education and development. India is the only country where its own language is looked down upon. This mindset has to change.

The new National Education Policy (2020) has tried to improve this thinking There is a provision that the medium of education till class 5 should be mother tongue or local language. This simply means that education through Hindi will be promoted in Hindi speaking states. This will increase the understanding and confidence of children. When education is in their own language, children will not feel burdened and will pursue studies happily. Implementing this policy in true sense will give continuity to the campaign of Hindi.

In the programs organized on Hindi Diwas, often big slogans are raised, speeches are given and the glory of Hindi is praised. But the problem is that all this cools down the very next day. We have to decide how to increase the use of Hindi in everyday life. Hindi should have a stronger place in offices, courts, technical institutes, even on social media. Just praising Hindi on the stage will not work, but it will have to be implemented in practical life.

Today Hindi is spreading rapidly in the world of Internet. Statistics show that the number of Hindi content consumers is increasing much faster than English. Companies like Google, Facebook, YouTube are making Hindi content available in Hindi. Specially providing content. This means that the possibilities of Hindi are immense. We should take advantage of this opportunity and connect Hindi with modernity. By developing the vocabulary of science, technology, management and law in Hindi, it has to be made in accordance with contemporary needs.

The world of Hindi literature is also very vast and rich. Many writers like Kabir, Tulsi, Sur, Premchand, Nirala, Mahadevi Verma took Hindi to new heights. But the modern generation is moving away from literature. They have to be explained that Hindi literature has the depths of life, the truths of society and the priceless treasure of human values. Only when the young generation feels connected to its language, will Hindi truly become a language to live every moment.

The Hindi campaign is not only the responsibility of the government. It is the responsibility of every citizen. When we talk in Hindi in our home, with our children, with our friends, then this campaign will automatically strengthen. If we ourselves feel proud to speak English and hesitate to speak Hindi, then how will this language flourish? We have to change our mindset and give respect to Hindi There will be.

The challenges are certainly not less. Hundreds of languages and dialects are spoken in India. Every language has its own importance and should be respected. Hindi should not be imposed, but should be used to unite. Hindi can connect the whole country as a connecting language, because it is the most widely spoken and understood language. But this is possible only when the form of Hindi is flexible and inclusive.

Technology can also play an important role in the promotion of Hindi. Mobile apps, online education platforms, translation software and artificial intelligence can bring a revolution in the spread of Hindi. Research papers, magazines and international level books should be published in Hindi. If Hindi is linked to knowledge and employment, then its campaign will automatically become a part of life.

Today's generation has to be given the message that Hindi is not a language of backwardness, but it is a language of progress and self-reliance. We have to break the notion that success is achieved only through English medium. The basis of success is hard work, knowledge and There is confidence, and this can be achieved with the same determination in one's mother tongue.

So don't consider Hindi Diwas as just a symbol. Take it as an inspiration that Hindi remains a part of our identity every day, every moment. We have to teach our children that Hindi is not only the language of home, but also the language of knowledge and progress. We have to create an environment where reading, writing and communicating in Hindi is a matter of pride.

When the Hindi campaign is not limited to a single day, but gets ingrained in every sphere of society, only then will this language truly become the soul of India.
