To address these challenges, use of modern methods in education, development of digital resources, balance between different languages, effective implementation of National Education Policy 2020, and efforts to link Hindi with employment are needed.

ARA--------------------------The current status of Hindi presents a paradox, where it is emerging as a major language globally, in India it is facing challenges such as acceptance of the national language, not becoming the language of employment, increasing influence of English and technological backwardness. To address these challenges, use of modern methods in education, development of digital resources, balance between different languages, effective implementation of National Education Policy 2020, and efforts to link Hindi with employment are needed.

Current Status--1. Global influence: Hindi is one of the ten most influential languages ​​in the world. It is written and read in more than 100 countries and is the third most popular language in the US. 2. Role in India: Hindi is the official language of India, but is not the mother tongue of all the population of India. 3. Employment and higher education: Hindi has still not become the main language of employment and higher education in India. 4. Media: Films and media have made Hindi popular, but the influence of English is more in daily work and technical education.

Challenges of Hindi--1. Acceptance as national language: Hindi has not got full acceptance as the national language of the country. 2. Hesitation among the highly educated class: Some highly educated people feel shy and hesitant in speaking Hindi. 3. Increasing dominance of English: Multinational companies and technical fields are mainly dependent on English. 4. Lack of teaching methods: Old methods are used in teaching Hindi, which reduces the interest of students. 5. Lack of technology and resources: Computers and other technologies have fewer facilities available for Hindi as compared to English. 5. Increasing prevalence of Roman script: There is increasing pressure to write Hindi in Roman script instead of Devanagari script.

Solutions to the challenges of Hindi---1. Implementation of National Education Policy 2020: Modernize Hindi teaching through this policy and increase the interest of students. 2. Development of digital resources: Develop all types of digital resources and tools in Hindi. 3. Linking language to employment: Linking Hindi to employment and increasing the interest of students towards the language. 4. Modern and effective teaching methods: Adopt activity-based and communicative teaching approach. 5. Technical training: Train teachers in new technologies and teaching methods. 6. Respect for linguistic diversity: Give equal status to all Indian languages ​​and allow Hindi to develop naturally instead of imposing it. 7. Cultural connection: Make Hindi attractive by connecting it to modern literature, films, and social media. 8. National Language Mission: To develop educational and literary resources for Hindi and other Indian languages.
