ARA(SHAHPUR)-----------------------Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor rallied thousands in Shahpur, calling on voters to choose leaders who secure their children’s future and transform Bihar, while slamming Nitish Kumar and PM Modi for neglecting the state’s needs.
As part of his Bihar Badlav Yatra, Kishor addressed a massive public gathering at Hari Narayan Inter College ground in Shahpur, welcomed by youths and women with bands, drums, and fanfare. Urging voters to prioritize their children’s future, he said, “Vote for leaders who can shape your kids’ destiny and bring factories to Bihar.” Taking a swipe at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Kishor criticized, “In this era of inflation, Nitish offers a measly ₹400 pension.”
Kishor pledged that Jan Suraaj, from December 2025, will provide ₹2,000 monthly pensions to all men and women above 60. He promised, “After this year’s Chhath, Bihar’s youth won’t have to leave their families for ₹10,000-12,000 jobs elsewhere.” Until government schools improve, he vowed the state would cover private school fees for children under 15, ensuring even poor kids access English-medium education. “Vote to establish people’s rule in Bihar, not for leaders’ faces like Lalu, Nitish, or Modi,” he urged, emphasizing votes for education and jobs over personalities.
Blasting PM Modi and Nitish, Kishor said, “Bihar’s votes belong to its people, so factories should rise here, not in Gujarat.” The rally, chaired by district president Abhay Singh and moderated by Naveen Kumar, saw notable attendees, including Dumraon Raj’s Kunwar Chandr Vijay Singh, Kamlesh Singh, Padma Ojha, Vinay Krishna Mishra, Anurani Jha, Siddharth Kumar, and Arvind Thakur, alongside a large crowd. Kishor’s call for systemic change has stirred Bhojpur, setting the stage for a charged 2025 election.
Prashant Kishor swept through Bhojpur, slamming state and central governments for neglecting Bihar’s elderly and youth, while urging voters to choose their children’s future over corrupt leaders in the 2025 assembly polls.
On June 11, 2025, as part of his Bihar Badlav Yatra, Kishor addressed a massive rally at Shahpur’s Hari Narayan Inter College ground, drawing thousands. Taking aim at the government, he said, “In this era of soaring prices, they offer a paltry ₹400 monthly pension.” He pledged that Jan Suraaj, if elected in December 2025, will provide ₹2,000 monthly pensions to all men and women over 60. “Post-Chhath this year, Bihar’s youth won’t need to abandon their families for ₹10,000-12,000 jobs elsewhere,” he promised.
Kishor vowed to fund private school fees for children under 15 until government schools improve, ensuring quality education for the poor. “Don’t vote for leaders who loot you and your kids,” he urged Bhojpur’s residents. “Vote for your children’s future, for education and jobs, not for faces like Lalu, Nitish, or Modi. Establish people’s rule in Bihar.” When he asked whether factories should rise in Gujarat or Bihar, the crowd roared, “Bihar!”
In Ara’s Ramleela Maidan, Kishor addressed intellectuals, saying, “I’ve come to salute Bhojpur’s soil and the teachers who shaped me.” Thousands attended, with Jan Suraaj workers honoring him with shawls and garlands. Across the district, supporters welcomed him with drums and fanfare, showering him with flowers. Kishor’s
