ARA--------------------------A meeting was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Bhojpur Tanay Sultania to review the progress of various schemes run by the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department. In the meeting, the District Magistrate directed all the concerned officers to expedite the implementation of the schemes and achieve the target within the stipulated time frame. The District Magistrate directed to ensure the execution of all pending approval and order sheet generation cases of the year 2024-25 and 2025-26 under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) by August 10, 2025. Also, the confirmation of all the targeted families under Self Survey Corroboration was asked to be completed in the next three days. He directed that the work should be completed expeditiously by paying wages under MNREGA in those houses which have received the third installment. In the same sequence, instructions were given to complete all the sports grounds under construction under MNREGA within a week. All the schemes related to grey water management, in which 80% work has been completed, were also instructed to be completed in the next 10 days. Under the Lohia Swachh Bihar Abhiyan, it was asked to ensure payment within 3 days by creating payee of the pending beneficiaries. Also, instructions were given to complete the individual toilets being constructed in the Mahadalit tolas within a week. The District Magistrate also clarified that in the light of the available amount, it would be mandatory to complete the honorarium payment of sanitation supervisors and workers (by April 2025) in the next two days and provide the utility certificate and payment certificate to the department. Apart from this, instructions were also given to complete the Anganwadi centers, village organization buildings and other structural works in the Mahadalit tolas on priority basis and to complete the schemes being run under the 15th Finance Commission and the Sixth State Finance Commission as soon as possible and make effective use of the available amount. Deputy Development Commissioner Gunjan Singh, Additional Collector, District Panchayat Raj Officer, Director DRDA, DPO MNREGA and other related officers were present in this meeting.
