ARA------------------------At Paramanpur Chaturmasya Vrat Sthal, India's great sage, Saint Shri Lakshmi Prapanna Jiyar Swami Maharaj said that blessed is Prahlad who prayed to Lord Narasimha for salvation for his father. Prahlad was tried to be killed by his father Hiranyakashyap in many ways. Even then Prahlad never got angry with his father. Whenever Prahlad's father got angry, even then Prahlad would reply very politely.

Prahlad's father considered himself God. He was also giving education to Prahlad himself and was also getting him educated in Gurukul through the son of Shukracharya, the guru of demons. Even then Prahlad was involved in the education, meditation and penance of Lord Narayan since childhood. Today in the society, if a father says anything to his son, the son gets angry even on a small matter. But today's young generation should learn from Prahlad. Who did not retaliate even after his father made mistakes repeatedly.

When Lord Narasimha appeared from the pillar and killed Hiranyakashyap, even after that when Lord Narasimha asked Prahlad ji to ask for a boon, Prahlad ji asked for salvation for his father. Blessed is such a son Prahlad who while worshipping Lord Narayana prayed to God for his demon father Hiranyakashyap to go to the supreme world of God. Prahlad ji says that Lord, my father should not go down.

When Lord Narasimha asks him to ask for another boon, then Prahlad ji says that you promise that you will not kill anyone in my family now. Such devotion of Prahlad ji towards Lord Shriman Narayan is unimaginable. It is equally unimaginable for his father, his family and the coming generations. Such Prahlad ji is the biggest guide for today's current generation. All people should learn from his thoughts, qualities, sadhana, sanskar, devotion, patience.

We get happiness and sorrow only because of our deeds. Neither brother gives happiness, nor father gives happiness, nor mother gives happiness, nor friend gives happiness, nor God gives happiness. Because God also determines happiness and sorrow on the basis of our deeds. If our deeds are right then we will get happiness. If the deeds are not right then on the basis of that we will also get sorrow.

In Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Hiranyakashyap's son Prahlad ji asks his father to take refuge in Lord Shriman Narayan. Prahlad ji says that the one who has power over every living being, animal, creature or everywhere in the world, through whom we get salvation, is Lord Shriman Narayan. Prahlad ji starts preaching Vedas, Upanishads, scriptures. Seeing Prahlad ji's feelings awakening towards Lord Shriman Narayan, Hiranyakashyap gets angry. Seeing the devotion and respect towards Lord Vishnu, Hiranyakashyap gets angry and tries to kill Prahlad ji.

Sometimes by poisoning his food, sometimes by crushing him with an elephant and sometimes by throwing him from a mountain into a ditch, he tries to get Prahlad ji killed in many ways by his soldiers. But every time Lord Shriman Narayan used to save Prahlad ji. Hiranyakashyap was very upset. Then his younger sister Holika came there and told him that she had obtained a sheet by doing penance. The specialty of that sheet is that if she sits covering herself with that sheet, she will not walk in the fire. Hiranyakashyap asked Holika to kill Prahlad ji.

A fire was lit in which Holika sat covering herself with the sheet and took Prahlad ji in her lap. At the same time, Lord Shriman Narayan had such an effect that a storm came. The sheet which Holika was sitting with flew and fell on Prahlad ji. Due to which Holika was burnt in that fire and Prahlad Ji, who was sitting there, survived the fire in a completely healthy and safe condition.

Seeing this incident, Hiranyakashyap got very upset. One day he was sitting on his throne and made Prahlad Ji sit beside him. He asked that son what have you learnt till now. Then Prahlad Ji says that Lord Shriman Narayan cannot be pleased with wealth, power, masculinity, position, prestige, beauty, opulence. Lord Shriman Narayan is not impressed by a person born in a high school. Wealth, power, position, prestige, whatever it may be, but if there is no morality then Lord Shriman Narayan is not impressed by it.

Prahlad Ji says that father, if one does not have culture, sanskar, dignity, good wishes for living beings, then everything is useless. Because Lord Shriman Narayan can be pleased with sadhna, adoration, devotion, religion and true heart. Therefore, father, you should also worship Lord Shriman Narayan, surrender to him. Through whom the whole universe exists. Hearing this, Hiranyakashyap became very angry with Prahlad ji. He picked up Prahlad ji and threw him there.

Hiranyakashyap tells Prahlad ji that you take the name of the Vishnu who killed my brother, your uncle Hiranyaksh. Hiranyakashyap takes out his sword in anger and runs to kill Prahlad ji. Hiranyakashyap asks Prahlad ji that where is that Vishnu on whose trust you are talking so much. Today I will kill you. If he is here, he will save you, then Prahlad ji says that Lord Vishnu is everywhere. He is in us, he is in you, he is in this sword. There is God in this pillar also.

After which, Hiranyakashyap gets very angry and breaks the pillar by hitting it. The pillar breaks Immediately a very terrifying sound comes from it and Lord Narasimha appears from it. After appearing, Lord Narasimha catches Hiranyakashyap. The upper half of Lord Narasimha's body is that of a lion and the lower half of his body is that of a human. After which Lord Narasimha says that today we will kill you. Then Hiranyakashyap says that you cannot kill me. Because I have taken a boon from Brahma ji by doing penance.

Neither a man nor an animal will kill me, neither will I die with a weapon nor with a weapon, neither will I die inside the house nor outside, neither can anyone kill me during the day nor at night. Lord said that right now it is neither day nor night, it is evening. Hiranyakashyap said that I have also taken a boon that I will neither die above nor below. Then Lord Narasimha said that I will kill you in my lap. Right now where you are standing, you are neither inside the house nor outside, you are standing on the doorstep. I will neither kill you with a weapon nor with a weapon, I will kill you with my nails.

Lord Narasimha said that you have a boon that you will neither die by a human nor a demon nor by a god, so I am neither a human nor an animal nor a demon. Then Hiranyakashyap said that I have also taken a boon from Brahma ji that no one can kill me for 12 months. Lord Narasimha said that there is an extra month now. So it is not twelve months but the 13th month. Therefore, this boon of yours also failed.

At the same time, Lord Narasimha took Hiranyakashyap in his lap, sat on the doorstep of the house and killed him with his nails. At the same time, all the gods reached to congratulate Lord Narasimha. Then Lord Narasimha roared so loudly that all the gods ran away in fear and reached Lakshmi ji's place and told her that O Lakshmi Mata, Lord Vishnu has become very angry.

Lakshmi ji said that Lord Vishnu never gets angry. She went to do the aarti of Lord Narasimha with a gold plate. As soon as Lakshmi ji started praying to Lord Narasimha, Lord Narasimha roared so loudly that even Lakshmi ji threw the plate and ran away from there. But Prahlad ji was standing there without any fear with folded hands. Lord Narasimha took Prahlad ji and made him sit in his lap and started licking him. Lord Narasimha said that O son, please forgive me as I was late in coming.

Lord Narasimha said to Prahlad ji that son, you ask for a boon from me. After which Prahlad ji said that O Lord, my father has committed so many sins, atrocities, injustice, but please do not let him go down. Lord Narasimha said that the father of the person who has a son like you in his house cannot go down. The second boon Prahlad ji asked for was that from today onwards, you should not do this to anyone from my family, like you have done with my father. Lord said that okay, I will not do this to anyone from your family.

But if they make a mistake, I will definitely punish them. The third boon Prahlad ji asked from God was that he should be given devotion towards him. After giving this boon, Lord Narasimha made Prahlad sit on the throne which is also called Aasan. Lord Narasimha made him sit on the Aasan which came to be known as Singhasan. After which Lord made Prahlad the king of Hiranyakashyap's kingdom.
