ARA----------------------------At Paramanpur Chaturmasya Vrat Sthal, India's great sage Saint Shri Lakshmi Prapanna Shri Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj said that sanskar is the main asset of the nation. Sanskar is the mother of the nation. Without sanskar, even after having everything in a person's life, nothing remains. Because sanskar is such a medium through which a person's personality is decided. The sanskar given to children by parents in childhood, that sanskar remains in their life till the end.

That is why all parents should give sanskar to their children from childhood itself. When the child is in the womb, his behavior and sanskar starts from that time itself. The behavior of the parents at the time of pregnancy, the same behavior is also seen in the sanskar of children later on. When the child is in the womb, the mother meditates, thinks, remembers, worships God, then the same sanskar is seen in the children in the future. Its example has also been mentioned in the scriptures.

When Prahlad ji was in the womb, his mother Kayadhu used to worship God. Due to which Prahlad ji started worshipping God right after birth. That is why all parents should give the right sanskar to their boys and girls in the womb and from the time the child is born. Whether the child is 1 month old, 2 months old, 6 months old or 1 year or 2 years old, the sanskar given by the parents in childhood, that sanskar is seen throughout the life.

Many parents wait for their children to grow up. When the child grows a little, then we will give him sanskar. In childhood, parents pamper their children. But they wait for sanskar. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures that sanskar is the best resource of education, knowledge, power, sadhana for children.

Whenever you go to the temple for worship, take your child with you, make him sit there. Even if the child does not understand anything, he will definitely understand one day. Like Hiranyakashyap and Kayadhu's son Prahlad ji Maharaj got the right sanskar in his mother's womb itself. He learnt to worship God, to pray to God, to take the name of Shriman Narayan in his mother's womb itself.

16 sanskars have been mentioned in human life. Which starts when the child is in the mother's womb. Many sanskars are performed as soon as the child is born. When the child is born, the sanskar of Nar Chhedhan is performed. Like when the child comes out of the house into the courtyard, then the sanskar is performed. When the child is 11 to 12 days old, then the naming sanskar is performed. Karna (ear) piercing sanskar is performed. Janeu sanskar is performed. Even when I go to study at Guruji's place, there is a sanskar (ritual). Marriage is a sanskar (ritual).

Marriage is not a behaviour or a relation, it is also a sanskar of a person's life. Behaviour is that which happens with people. Relation is that which is formed for profit or loss. But sanskar is for our nature. It is for life. There is a possibility of sourness in a relation sometime or the other. But there is never any kind of sourness in sanskars.

Marriage is for people abroad in the form of behaviour. But in our Indian culture, marriage is a sanskar of human life. When we have a marital relationship, it is not just with one person, but a new relation is also formed with the family, people living nearby, and animals. A feeling of well-being comes towards the animals. Due to which a husband and wife expand their lineage by living within the limits of Grihastha Ashram.

Now Pitru Paksha is going on, so we should also worship our ancestors with full rituals. Like Sun, Moon, Air are direct deities. Similarly, ancestors are also deities. They should be worshipped every day. We should go to Gaya and offer pind daan to them every year. We should not only worship our ancestors but also worship the chief of the ancestors, who are the deities. They will wish for our well-being. They will wish for the well-being of our future generations.

Even if you do not go to Gaya every year and offer pind daan to your ancestors, but worship your ancestors every year during Pitru Paksha at your home. So that the lineage in your house increases. If this thought comes to anyone's mind that our ancestors have gone to heaven, then why should we offer pind daan to them. But it is not so. Just like we send money or anything to someone. If the address of that person has changed, then it comes back to us. Similarly, if we offer tarpan to our ancestors, then the virtue of it will come back to us, our children or the future generations.

In the context of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, when Prahlad Ji was growing in the womb of Hiranyakashyap's wife, Indra got the news of this. Then Indra tried to kidnap Hiranyakashyap's wife Kayadhu and kill her. Then Narad Ji came and told Indra Ji that the child growing in Kayadhu's womb will be a great devotee of God. Even though Hiranyakashyap is of demonic nature, but his son is going to be a great devotee of Lord Shriman Narayan. Then Narad Ji took Kayadhu with him. When Hiranyakashyap returned after doing penance, Narad Ji handed over his wife to him safely.

Hiranyakashyap pleased Brahma Ji by doing penance. He asked for a boon from him that I will not be killed by any weapon, scripture, man or animal. , neither in the morning nor in the evening, neither in the day nor in the night, no one could kill him. Then Brahma Ji gave him a boon. After which the terror of Hiranyakashyap started spreading among all the people. He told his soldiers that if anyone on earth is doing Japa, Tapa, Puja, Paath, Yagya, Dharma, Daan, Puja of ancestors or taking the name of Vishnu Ji, kill him. Destroy any place or temple of Gods or Vishnu.

Once Hiranyakashyap attacked the Gods. In that war, for some time, the Gods took an edge over Hiranyakashyap and his army. Then Hiranyakashyap told his soldiers that whatever is in our fate, we will definitely get it. Whatever is not in our fate, we will not get it even if it is with us. If our fate is favorable, then even the lost goods will be found, but if the fate is unfavorable, then the goods that we have will also be lost.

Whoever has to die will die anywhere. If one has to live, then he will live even in the battlefield. After which there was a fierce battle between the gods and Hiranyakashyap and his army and Hiranyakashyap captured heaven. He snatched Indra's mother's earring. He started getting water filled from some god. He started getting work done from some god. One day all the gods reached Lord Shriman Narayan for help.

Then Lord Shriman Narayan said that I do not help anyone like this. That person will be destroyed automatically. The one who opposes religion, yagya, penance, worship, recitation. His destruction will happen due to his own deeds and his own sins. So you people go, he will definitely be destroyed.

On the other side Prahlad ji Maharaj was born and he had grown up. Then Hiranyakashyap sent him to Gurukul to Shukracharya to receive education. At that time Prahlad ji was only 6 years old. He started receiving education from Shukracharya's son in Gurukul. Whatever Shukracharya's son used to teach, Prahlad ji used to listen. But after reading, he did not absorb it within himself.

One day Hiranyakashyap went to meet Prahlad ji in Gurukul. When he went there, he asked Prahlad ji that what all has Guru ji taught you. What all has he taught you. What teachings of injustice and adharma has Guru ji given, tell us. Then Prahlad ji started telling that whatever happens in the world, it happens by his grace. Take refuge in him, meditate on him, do sadhna.

He is no one else, he is Lord Shriman Narayan Vishnu. He is the basis of the world. To please that Lord Shriman Narayan, we should do nine types of devotion. Hearing all this, Hiranyakashyap got angry. He started scolding Shukracharya that I had asked you to teach this only. What teachings are you giving.

One day, it was a holiday, that day Prahlad ji sat with all the children of Gurukul and started preaching to them. One should acquire knowledge in childhood itself. One should marry in youth and expand the lineage while staying within the limits of the wife. One should wish for salvation in old age. But one should always follow the path of religion. Be it childhood, youth or old age.

It is mentioned in the scriptures that many people have attained salvation since childhood by remembering and meditating on God. Like Parikshit ji attained salvation by listening to the story of Lord Vishnu. Sukhdev ji attained salvation by accepting God and singing. Prahlad ji attained salvation by remembering God, Goddess Lakshmi ji attained salvation by serving God.

King Prithu attained salvation by worshipping God, Akrur ji by saluting and greeting God, Bajrangbali Hanuman ji by serving God. Arjun attained salvation by being a friend and King Bali pleased God by offering everything to him.
