RAKSHA BANDHAN: THE THREAD OF RELATIONSHIPS IN CHANGING TIMES—“BROTHER, IF YOU ARE WITHME, I NEED NOT FEAR ANYTHING.”

Raksha Bandhan is a sacred festival which is not just a thread, but a symbol of unbreakable love, trust and responsibility between brother and sister. This festival reminds us that relationships are not tied only with blood, but also with the threads of emotions. When a sister ties a Rakhi on her brother's wrist, she is not just performing a ritual, but taking a vow that she will always remain his well-wisher and support in his life. In return, the brother also vows that he will take care of his sister's protection, respect and happiness in every situation. But the question is, have these feelings remained as pure and deep as before in today's times?

ARA (RNI) Raksha Bandhan is a sacred festival which is not just a thread, but a symbol of unbreakable love, trust and responsibility between brother and sister.

In earlier times, the relationship between brother and sister was not just of a festival, but was also full of love, cooperation and closeness in everyday life. The sister felt safe in her brother's house, and the brother saw his happiness in his sister's smile. But modern lifestyle, the rush, the world of mobile and social media have inadvertently created a distance between this relationship. Now many times the Rakhi thread is just sent through courier, the formality is completed by saying “Raksha Bandhan ke sabse hai” on the phone.

Still, it would be wrong to say that love and trust have completely ended. Circumstances may change, but the basis of feelings is still the same. Today's sister may not be able to meet her brother 24 hours a day, but she is the first one to pray for him. The brother may not be present with the sister all the time, but when needed, he stands up for her regardless of the distance.

Raksha Bandhan reminds us that relationships should be maintained every day, not just on festival days. If brothers and sisters understand each other's feelings, take out time to sit together, and maintain mutual communication, then this relationship will become stronger with time.

In today's environment, this festival is not just an opportunity to tie a thread, but to re-tighten the bond of trust, respect and selfless love towards each other. Because the real protection is not only from external threats, but also from the distance and indifference that is growing in relationships.

If this bond of brother and sister is maintained with a true heart, then time, distance and circumstances - nothing can weaken it. This thread of Rakhi will always say - "Brother, if you are with me, then I do not need to be afraid."
