QUIZ COMPETITION ORGANIZED UNDER THE WATER-LIFE-GREENERY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

ARA--------------------------A quiz competition was organized on Tuesday at the Ramdahin Mishra High School premises in Garhani block as part of the Water-Life-Greenery awareness campaign. The program was presided over by the Block Education Officer of Garhani, Akhilesh Kumar Singh. Students from classes 9th to 12th, selected from various clusters, participated enthusiastically in this competition. Addressing the program, Block Education Officer Akhilesh Kumar Singh said that water, life, and greenery are deeply interconnected. If we do not pay attention to water conservation and environmental protection today, future generations will face a serious crisis. The main objective of this campaign is to spread awareness in society through the students. He appealed to the students to stop wasting water, plant trees, and make environmental protection a part of their daily lives. In the quiz competition, Pankaj Kumar, a student of +2 Janata High School, Baligaon, secured the first position with his outstanding performance. Vivek Kumar, a student of Higher Secondary School, Padaria, secured the second position, and Ankush Kumar, a student of Upgraded Secondary School, Kaup, and Shivani Kumari, a student of Upgraded Secondary School, Aslan Bahadurpur, jointly secured the third position with equal marks. The questions asked during the competition were related to water conservation, environmental balance, green cover, rainwater harvesting, and the Water-Life-Greenery campaign, which the students answered confidently. The teachers and students present in the audience seemed particularly enthusiastic about the competition. BRC Ashok Vardhan, Himanshu Kumar Pal, teachers Shashi Ranjan Singh and Sanjeev Kumar made significant contributions to the conduct and organization of the quiz. All the teachers played an active role in conducting the competition in an interesting and disciplined manner. At the end of the program, it was announced that the winning participants would be honored with certificates, and best wishes were extended for the bright future of all the participants. This program proved to be a commendable initiative in developing awareness and social responsibility towards environmental protection among the students.
