ARA------------------------As per the instructions of District Magistrate Mr. Tanay Sultania, a meeting of the Steering Committee was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium, Ara, under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Mrs. Gunjan Singh, for the successful conduct of the upcoming Revenue Maha Abhiyan (from 16 August to 20 September 2025). In the meeting, all the Circle Officers, Revenue Officers and concerned departmental officers were given detailed information about their responsibilities related to the campaign. It was told that under this campaign, door-to-door campaign will be conducted for correction in land related records of the raiyats of the state, successor mutation and partition mutation.

During this, a copy of the online jamabandi will be made available to the concerned raiyats by visiting their homes. Also, applications will be received in the camps organized at the Halka level for jamabandi correction, online execution of missed jamabandi, successor mutation and partition mutation. It was also told that the missed jamabandi will include those cases in which the settlement certificate or permit has been issued, but the jamabandi has not been established till now. This campaign is an important initiative towards improvement and updating of land records. Deputy Development Commissioner directed that active cooperation of Panchayat representatives is necessary for the success of this campaign. Instructions were given to give responsibility to the Mukhiya, Sarpanch and especially Ward Members/Panchas of the concerned Panchayats to provide support to the teams formed for door-to-door Jamabandi distribution.

Assistant Collector, District Land Acquisition Officer, District Supply Officer, District Panchayati Raj Officer, In-charge Officer (Revenue), all Sub-Divisional Officers, Block Development Officer, Circle Officer and many other senior district level officers were present in this meeting.
