MAHA BAITHAK HELD IN PARAMANPUR FOR SRI LAXMI NARAYAN MAHA YAGYA

ARA-----------------------------Maha Baithak held in Paramanpur for Shri Laxmi Narayan Maha Yagya – Maha Baithak of representatives of about 55 villages was held by Yagya Samiti Paramanpur under the Mangala Anushasan of great sage of India, Saint Shri Laxmi Prapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj at Paramanpur Chaturmasya Vrat Sthal. In which a meeting was held regarding the preparation of Shri Laxmi Narayan Maha Yagya. On the occasion of Chaturmasya Vrat of Shri Swami Ji, the organization of Shri Laxmi Narayan Maha Yagya has been confirmed from 1st October to 7th October. Preparations are being done on war footing for this. Devotees from all the villages located in a distance of about 20 kms around Paramanpur Chaturmasya Vrat Sthal of Rohtas, Bhojpur, Buxar district participated.

All the people who came from different villages shared their views. So that whatever arrangements are there in organizing the Maha Yagya, they can be organized in a better way. On behalf of Paramanpur Chaturmas Vrat Yagya Samiti, a mega campaign is being run for the preparation of the Yagya at the village level, panchayat level and all the village level within a radius of 20 kilometers. In which people themselves are working for whatever support is necessary for the Yagya. So that it can be organized in the right way. All the members including the President, Secretary, Treasurer, Chief Patron, all Patrons, Deputy Secretary, Vice President, and all Deputy Treasurers of the Yagya Committee participated in the meeting organized by the Yagya Samiti.

In this Maha meeting, all the people unanimously agreed to work continuously for cooperation with body, mind and money to make Shri Lakshmi Narayan Maha Yagya successful. All India Maha Dharma Sammelan is also going to be organized on 7 October. In which international national saints and Mahatmas will participate. There will also be an opportunity to see and hear the blessings of those divine great men of India on the same platform.

Swami Ji is narrating to Vyas Ji, in the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Prasanga, the story of how Sati had to suffer humiliation in the mutual estrangement between Sukhdev Ji, King Daksha and Lord Shankar, on the holy banks of the Ganga. The previous day, Shankar Ji was humiliated by King Daksha in the felicitation ceremony held in Prayagraj. After which King Daksha is organizing a big yagya to humiliate Shankar Ji. Sati is asking permission from Shankar Ji to go to that yagya. But Shankar Ji is not giving permission to Sati.

The same Sati is going to attend her father's yagya without permission. After going there, Sati first meets her sisters. Sati Ji is told a lot of things by her sisters. Sati's sister says, your husband stays with snakes all day. His behavior is also different. Okay, you have come, but you have not brought that Shankar, who lives a horrific life all day. Sati Ji moves forward from there. She enters the Yagyashaala. Where Sati's father Prajapati Raja Daksha is sitting as the host.

Prajapati Raja Daksha sees Sati. He starts speaking many types of inauspicious things. Raja Daksha said that we had not even invited Sati and Shankar. Don't know how these inauspicious people have reached here. Sati's behavior has also become like Shankar's. Prajapati Raja Daksha insults Sati in many ways. After which Sati also becomes very angry. She also scolds her father Raja Daksha a lot. She says that you were not worthy of becoming our father. But by mistake I was born in your house. In this way a lot of debate took place.

After which Sati abandons her body in the havan kund there. This has been told in other Puranas, but it has not been discussed in Shrimad Bhagwat. It has been told in other Puranas that when Sati abandons her body in that yagya mandap. After that Shankar ji comes to know about this. Shankar ji, in anger, lifts Sati's body and roams it all over the earth. Wherever Sati's body parts were burnt and fell down, they are known as Shakti Peeths. For example, you know about Vindhyavasini, Vaishno Devi etc.
