JAMABANDI WILL REACH THE HOMES OF THE RAIYATS
For the successful conduct of the upcoming Revenue Maha Abhiyan (16 August to 20 September 2025), a review meeting was held in the Collectorate Auditorium, under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Tanay Sultania on Wednesday. In the meeting, all the Sub-Divisional Officers, all Land Reforms Sub-Collector, Circle Officer, Revenue Officer and related departmental officers were given detailed information about the works and responsibilities related to the campaign.

ARA------------------------For the successful conduct of the upcoming Revenue Maha Abhiyan (16 August to 20 September 2025), a review meeting was held in the Collectorate Auditorium, under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Tanay Sultania on Wednesday. In the meeting, all the Sub-Divisional Officers, all Land Reforms Sub-Collector, Circle Officer, Revenue Officer and related departmental officers were given detailed information about the works and responsibilities related to the campaign.
It was told in the meeting that under this special campaign, door-to-door initiative will be conducted for correction in land related records of the raiyats of the state, successor mutation and partition mutation. Under this, a copy of the online Jamabandi will be made available to the concerned raiyats by visiting their homes.
Along with this, special camps will be organized at the Halka level for Jamabandi correction, online execution of missed Jamabandi, successor mutation and partition mutation. The missed jamabandi will include those cases in which settlement certificate or permit has been issued, but jamabandi has not been established yet.
This mega campaign is an important initiative towards improvement and updating of land records, which will ensure transparency and quick settlement of land rights. The District Magistrate directed that active cooperation of Panchayat representatives is mandatory for the success of this campaign.
The Mukhiya, Sarpanch and especially the Ward Members/Pancha of the concerned Panchayats will be given the responsibility to provide support to the teams formed for door-to-door jamabandi distribution. Also, the District Magistrate appealed to the general public to definitely reach the camp organized in their village and panchayat and get the pending land related cases settled quickly.
Deputy Development Commissioner Mrs. Gunjan Singh, Additional Secretary (Revenue and Land Reforms Department) Mr. Mahendra Pal, Additional Collector, District Panchayati Raj Officer, In-charge Officer (Revenue), all Sub-Divisional Officers, all Block Development Officers, all Circle Officers and other related officers were present in this meeting.
