ARA---------------------------At Paramanpur Chaturmasya Vrat Sthal, India's great sage Saint Shri Lakshmiprapanna Jiyar Swami Ji Maharaj said that God blesses all, be it gods, demons, creatures or animals. When an elephant named Gajendra was in trouble, there was no one to protect him. Once, elephant Gajendra was playing in the water with his wife and children. There, a crocodile was slowly catching Gajendra's feet. But the elephant named Gajendra was so intoxicated that he was not aware of the crocodile catching his feet.

Gradually, while playing in the water, the elephant named Gajendra started getting weak. The crocodile started pulling Gajendra elephant. Gajendra had become weak due to not eating or drinking. At that time his wife asked his children to help. For some time his wife and children helped the elephant named Gajendra to save him from the crocodile. But when his wife and children felt that they could not save him, then his wife and children left him and went out. That is why it is said that when a person is going through bad times, then it is not his wife, children, relatives or neighbours who help him.

The same happened with the elephant named Gajendra. The crocodile slowly dragged Gajendra into the middle of the water. There Gajendra elephant was shouting, save me, save me. He also took the name of Brahma ji. But he did not trust anyone. Because his wife and children had also left him. Brahma ji was thinking about helping him. Meanwhile, Gajendra elephant took the name of Shankar ji. Brahma ji thought that he does not trust me, he also became silent. Here Shankar ji also became silent after hearing this. He started thinking in his mind that he will not trust me either. Then he will call someone else.

When no one helped, then Gajendra elephant started shouting that the creator and protector of the universe, please save us. The same Lord Shriman Narayan, after listening to this, went out to save Gajendra. It is said that when there is no one to help in the world, then the Supreme Brahma Lord Shriman Narayan protects the living beings. That is why one should constantly meditate, think, contemplate and remember Lord Shriman Narayan. Because in times of sorrow, no living being in the world belongs to anyone. The same Shriman Narayan left his Chakra and protected the elephant named Gajendra.

When Gajendra saw God coming, he remembered God with many praises and took blessings from God. Then Garuda ji also came there from behind. He apologized to God. He said that O Triloki Nath, I was late in coming. Then Lord Shriman Narayan broke the ego of Garuda ji there too. Shukdev Ji tells Raja Parikshit that he was born in the Graha Yoni due to the curse of a Graha. He was a Gandharva named Huhu in his previous birth. Who became a Graha due to the curse of a Deval Rishi.

It is often seen in society that when a parent becomes old, then the family starts feeling that they will not be well. Then they start behaving sadly towards their parents too. They think in their mind that it would have been better if they had left now. Those parents who have endured so much pain and suffering for their family and arranged all the arrangements, when their situation turns adverse, then the behavior of the children with them changes completely.

In the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, once Durvasa Rishi went to Vaikunth Lok. Then Lord Shriman Narayan respected, honored and honoured him a lot. Due to which Durvasa Rishi was very happy. When Durvasa Rishi started leaving from there, then Lord Shriman Narayan took out the garland from his neck and put it around Durvasa Rishi's neck. After which Durvasa Rishi was very happy that Lord Shriman Narayan gave me the garland from his neck. Durvasa Rishi was going in this happiness and on the way he met Devraj Indra. Indra Dev bowed to him.

Then Durvasa Rishi was happy and gave that garland to Indra. Now Devraj Indra also got arrogant that Lord Vishnu's garland was received by Durvasa Rishi and Durvasa Rishi gave it to us. In this way, Devraj Indra took out the garland from his neck and put it on the head of his elephant. The elephant dropped that garland and crushed it with its feet. Seeing all this, Durvasa Rishi became very angry. He cursed Devraj Indra. He said that your opulence should end.

All this incident was seen by the demon's Guru Shukracharya. He went and told all this incident to King Bali. After which King Bali attacked Devraj Indra and became the king of heaven. Now all the gods got worried. Everyone went to Lord Vishnu with Brahma Ji and Shankar Ji. Lord Vishnu said that there is only one solution to this. The ocean will have to be churned. Many gems will come out of the ocean churning. Amrit will also come out of it. By drinking that Amrit, all the gods will become immortal.

After which Lord Vishnu gave knowledge of politics, diplomacy, religious policy, family policy, social policy to all the gods. He said that first of all you have to go and make a treaty with the demons. After which all the gods went to King Bali. They told King Bali that you and we are sons of the same father. That is why we are brothers. Only the mother is different. Therefore we tell such a solution, by which both of us will not die.

Then Devraj Indra told that there will be Samudra Manthan from which Amrit will come out and all of us, both gods and demons, will drink it. On which a treaty was made between demons and gods. In this way, preparations for Samudra Manthan started. In which Mandrarchal mountain was made the churning rod. Vasuki Naag was made the rope. Lord Vishnu took the form of Kashap and settled below Mandrarchal mountain. There were demons and devils on the mouth side of Vasuki Naag and there were gods on the tail side. In Samudra Manthan, first poison came out. Lord Shankar drank that poison. Due to which his throat became blue. After that, one of the names of Lord Shankar became Neelkanth.

Then Kamdhenu cow came out from Samudra Manthan. A white horse came out. Which was taken by Lord Indra. Moon came out, which was kept in the category of gods. Parijat tree and Kalpavriksha came out, which were kept in heaven. Rambha and many Apsaras came out, they were also kept in heaven. Airavat elephant came out which was taken by Devraj Indra. Mani came out which was worn by Lord Vishnu. Wine came out which was given to the demons. Then Lakshmi ji came out. When Lakshmi ji came out, the demons and the gods decided that if we take it, we will take it. Then God said that there will be a Swayamvar. In the Swayamvar, Lakshmi ji put a garland around the neck of Lord Shriman Narayan.

After Lakshmi ji, Dhanvantari ji came out with the Amrit Kalash. Then the demons snatched the Amrit Kalash from his hands and ran away. For 12 years, the demons kept running away with the Amrit Kalash. In this sequence, a few drops of Amrit fell at all the four places of Prayagraj, Nashik, Haridwar and Ujjain. That is why Kumbh Mela is held here after 12 years. All the demons started fighting among themselves as to who would drink the Amrit first. Then Lord Vishnu reached there in the form of Mohini and on seeing Mohini, all the demons forgot the Amrit and started fighting for Mohini.

All the demons were fascinated on seeing the Mohini avatar of God. Then Mohini ji said that give me the Amrit Kalash and I will make everyone drink it. Then the gods also came there. Mohini said that she will give the thin Amrit on top to the gods and the thick one below will be given to the demons. In this way all the demons sat in one line and the gods in another line. Then one of the demons sat in the line of the gods. He also drank the Amrit. Then Lord Vishnu recognized him.

But the demon ran away from there. Even then Lord Vishnu released his Sudarshan Chakra and he got cut into two parts. Because he had drunk the Amrit, he did not die. Those two parts, the upper head came to be known as Rahu and the lower torso came to be known as Ketu. Both Rahu and

Ketu became planets. After which Lord Vishnu in the Mohini avatar made all the gods drink the Amrit. Then the demon also recognized Lord Vishnu.

After which there was a Devasura war. Which lasted for many years. The Amrit Kalash was kept in heaven. All the demons were killed in the Devasur war. But the Guru of the demons, Shukracharya, brought King Bali back to life with the help of Sanjivani Mantra. After which Shukracharya got King Bali to perform 99 Yagyas. When he was getting the 100th Yagya performed, Lord Vishnu took the form of Vaman and took everything as donation from King Bali.
