DOOR TO DOOR LAND RECORD CORRECTION CAMPAIGN TO START FROM AUGUST 16
As per the instructions of District Magistrate Mr. Tanay Sultania, a meeting of the Steering Committee was held today in the Collectorate Auditorium, Ara under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Mrs. Gunjan Singh for the successful conduct of the upcoming Revenue Maha Abhiyan (16 August to 20 September 2025). In this meeting, all the Circle Officers, Revenue Officers and concerned departmental officials were given detailed information about their responsibilities related to the campaign.

ARA------------------------As per the instructions of District Magistrate Mr. Tanay Sultania, a meeting of the Steering Committee was held today in the Collectorate Auditorium, Ara under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner Mrs. Gunjan Singh for the successful conduct of the upcoming Revenue Maha Abhiyan (16 August to 20 September 2025). In this meeting, all the Circle Officers, Revenue Officers and concerned departmental officials were given detailed information about their responsibilities related to the campaign.
Under this campaign, a door-to-door campaign will be conducted for correction in land related records of the raiyats, successor mutation and partition mutation. A copy of the online jamabandi will be made available to the raiyats by visiting their homes. Apart from this, camps will be organized at the Halka level for jamabandi correction, online execution of missed jamabandi, successor mutation and partition mutation. The missed jamabandi will include those cases in which settlement certificate or permit has been issued, but jamabandi has not been established yet. This campaign is an important step towards improvement and updating of land records.
Deputy Development Commissioner Mrs. Gunjan Singh directed that active cooperation of Panchayat representatives is necessary for the success of the campaign. The Mukhiya, Sarpanch and especially the Ward Members/Panchas of the Panchayats have been entrusted with the responsibility to provide support to the teams formed for door-to-door jamabandi distribution.
Assistant Collector, District Land Acquisition Officer, District Supply Officer, District Panchayati Raj Officer, In-charge Officer (Revenue), all Sub-Divisional Officers, Block Development Officer, Circle Officer and many other senior district level officers were present in the meeting.
This Revenue Maha Abhiyan will not only be helpful in updating the land records, but will also ensure easy access to the documents related to their land to the farmers.
