ARA--------------------------Bhojpur District Administration has further intensified the scope of review regarding the progress of revenue works. A review meeting of important works related to the Revenue Department was organized under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Mr. Tanay Sultania in the Collectorate Auditorium, Ara. In the meeting, pending cases like mutation, refinement, Aadhaar seeding and pamphlet distribution were thoroughly reviewed.
At the beginning of the meeting, the District Magistrate took detailed information from all the Land Reforms Sub-Divisional Magistrates and Zonal Officers about the status of pending revenue cases in their area. He clearly instructed that the mutation cases which are pending for 75 days and 35 days should be executed 100% expeditiously. He said that providing timely, transparent and quality revenue services to the citizens is the top priority of the district administration.
District Magistrate Tanay Sultania said that in the execution of pending cases, not only the target of number will be seen, but special attention will be paid to the quality and transparency of the work. He made it clear that there should be no negligence or disturbance at any level in the mutation or modification work, so that there is no scope for any kind of dispute in future.
The progress of the distribution of papers under the "Abhiyan Basera" scheme was also reviewed in the meeting. The District Magistrate said that the distribution of papers is an important task that protects the rights of the poor and deprived class. All the Zonal Officers were instructed to speed up the distribution of papers and upload every update immediately on the "Abhiyan Basera App". He said that the progress of all the land related schemes should be recorded in real time so that transparency is maintained.
Along with the Revenue Department, the works of Disaster Management were also reviewed. The DM ordered that the data of the beneficiaries should be uploaded on the Disaster Completion Portal as soon as possible. Also, all the old pending records and cases related to disaster relief should be executed soon so that timely assistance can be provided to the beneficiaries in the event of a disaster.
The District Magistrate ordered all the Land Reforms Sub-Collector for continuous monitoring. He said that there should be regular inspection in revenue offices and the general public should not have to visit the office again and again for pending matters. It is the responsibility of the administration to provide accessible, quick and fair service to the public.
The Additional Collector, In-charge Officer (Revenue Branch), all Land Reforms Sub-Collector, all Circle Officers and other related officers were present in this meeting. During the meeting, all the officers presented the progress report in their respective areas and shared the strategy for the speedy execution of pending works.
At the end of the meeting, the District Magistrate said in clear words that no laxity will be tolerated in revenue related works. Strict action will be taken against the officers who do not complete the work within the time limit or are negligent. He directed all the officers to work with full devotion and honesty in the interest of the public.
