AN EVENT ORGANIZED TO MARK WORLD DISABILITY DAY

BUXAR----------------------------On Wednesday, a grand event was organized by the Bihar Education Project, Buxar, at the Nagar Bhawan on the occasion of World Disability Day. District Magistrate Buxar Dr. Vidyanand Singh, Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya, Additional Collector Arun Kumar Singh, and the District Education Officer, Buxar, jointly inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp.

On Wednesday, a grand event was organized by the Bihar Education Project, Buxar, at the Nagar Bhawan on the occasion of World Disability Day. District Magistrate Buxar Dr. Vidyanand Singh, Superintendent of Police Shubham Arya, Additional Collector Arun Kumar Singh, and the District Education Officer, Buxar, jointly inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp. The officials encouraged the children, calling this initiative an important step towards inclusive education.

Disabled children from various blocks of the district, who came to the event, displayed their talents brilliantly. Various cultural performances, including a welcome song, group song, solo dance, group dance, solo song, group song, drawing competition, essay writing and recitation competition, captivated the audience. To foster a competitive spirit among the children, sports competitions such as the jalebi race, the 100-meter race, the tricycle race, and the lemon-spoon race were also organized, in which the children participated enthusiastically.

At the end of the program, all participating children were awarded shoes, caps, sweaters, and study materials. Inclusive teachers, along with the children who participated in the performances and competitions, were honored with certificates. Officials stated that such programs are highly inspiring for connecting children with special needs to mainstream education and activities.

The entire event was conducted under the supervision of the District Education Officer and District Program Officer (Primary Education and Holistic Education), Buxar. Inclusive teachers from all blocks of the district actively participated in the Inclusive Education Confluence. Various officials from the Education Department, including the District Education Officer, District Program Officer, DPO Secondary Education, DPO Establishment, and Sangam Incharge, were present at the event. This event, which provided a platform to showcase the courage and talent of children with disabilities, was a topic of discussion throughout the day, and attendees praised it as a commendable initiative towards strengthening inclusive education in Buxar district.
