The five-day "Deepotsav-2025" workshop and exhibition concluded in the Jubilee Hall of Shanti Smriti Sambhavna Residential High School, located in Shubh Narayan Nagar, Majhowanwa, in the city. The program was jointly inaugurated by Chief Guest Ranjit Sinha (Assistant Director, NABARD), School Principal Dr. Archana Singh, and Director Dr. Kumar Dwijendra. The exhibition was then inaugurated and the students' handicrafts, sculptures, and rangoli creations were reviewed.

ARA--------------------------The five-day "Deepotsav-2025" workshop and exhibition concluded in the Jubilee Hall of Shanti Smriti Sambhavna Residential High School, located in Shubh Narayan Nagar, Majhowanwa, in the city. The program was jointly inaugurated by Chief Guest Ranjit Sinha (Assistant Director, NABARD), School Principal Dr. Archana Singh, and Director Dr. Kumar Dwijendra. The exhibition was then inaugurated and the students' handicrafts, sculptures, and rangoli creations were reviewed.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Ranjit Sinha (Assistant Director, NABARD) said that only schools can nurture children's talents. This school is doing excellent work in making them active along with their education. Wishing the children a Happy Diwali, he urged them to be environmentally conscious and to use only green crackers.
Principal Dr. Archana Singh said that Deepotsav is a festival symbolizing the victory of light over darkness. Through the workshop, children are learning to make lamps, candles, garlands, rangoli, and other decorative items with their own hands. This is not only an opportunity for skill development, but also a medium to connect with Indian folk style and tradition. He further stated that Sambhaavna Vidyalaya has been a harbinger of education as well as culture and tradition, and will continue to promote such events to pass on the indelible impressions of folk life to future generations. Director Dr. Kumar Dwijendra said, "Such events are essential for preserving our cultural and cultural heritage. Workshops not only connect children with traditional arts but also develop their creativity and sensitivity."
In the folk singing presentation, students enthralled the audience with folk songs based on Diwali, Bhai Dooj, and the Chhath festival. The Diwali group song "Rangoli made of seven colors" was performed by Nisha Kumari, Priyanka Singh, Jyoti Kumari, Sakshi Singh, Annya Kumari, Simma Kumari, Kriti Kumari, Archana Singh, and Vandana Kumari.
The group song "Sanjeev Bhadya ke Laali Dhodia..." based on Bhai Dooj was performed by Rashmi Singh, Soumya Singh, Vandana Kumari, Aditi Kumari, Sakshi Singh, Aastha Singh, Shashi Singh, Radha Kumari, and Trisha Nandini. The Chhath Puja group song "Ughe Suraj Dev..." was performed by Priyanka Singh, Soumya Singh, Aditi Kumari, Annya. Kumari, Simma Kumari, and other students performed. Finally, the Chhath Puja group song "Ugahi Dinanath…" was performed by Vandana Kumari, Archana Chaudhary, Kriti Kumari, Pratima Singh, Sakshi Singh, Palak Singh, and Radha Singh.
During the program, the Rangoli competition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Ranjit Sinha (Assistant Director, NABARD), the Director of Sambhavna, and the Principal. Guests visited the exhibition in the Jubilee Hall. Principal Dr. Archana Singh encouraged everyone with her address.
Prizes were presented to the winners of the Rangoli competition by the Director and Principal. Art teachers Vishnu Prasad and Sanjeev Sinha handled the art creation and training. Chintu Kumar, Dharmendra Kumar, Amitesh Kumar, and Mahesh Kumar contributed significantly to the song and dance training.
Sanjeev Sinha conducted the workshop, and Director Dr. Kumar Dwijendra delivered the vote of thanks. Approximately 500 students participated in the five-day workshop, bringing glory to the school with their art and creativity.
