ARA----------------------------Women's Colleges are not just focused on academic development, but providing food to the underprivileged is a unique identity: Principal Prof. Narendra Pratap Palit
On Wednesday, approximately 100 to 150 poor and needy people were fed under the "Annapurna Yojana" at M.M. Women's College, Ara. This social initiative has been running regularly for the past four years and is held twice a year. This activity, accredited by NAAC, demonstrates the college's sensitivity and social responsibility towards the underprivileged sections of society.
This event was organized to commemorate the death anniversary of the parents of IQAC Coordinator Dr. Vijayashree. The program was conducted and fully organized under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Narendra Pratap Palit and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Vijayashree.
The program was initiated by Principal Prof. Narendra Pratap Palit by feeding the underprivileged. He stated that the college's responsibility is not limited to academic development, but it is equally important to help the underprivileged sections of society. Under his leadership and inspiration, the program has a positive and service-oriented spirit. Co-coordinator Dr. Anupama, along with all the teaching and non-teaching staff, actively cooperated. Retired college employees Bajrangi Ji, hostel staff Mamta and Surajmani, along with all the teaching and non-teaching staff, and National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, demonstrated excellent teamwork in preparing, distributing, and managing the food. The Annapurna scheme aims to share compassion, cooperation, and human values with the economically weaker sections of society.
